Also suitable for longer stays. Suitable for families with children. Possibility to have breakfast on site. Great location for visiting the Borobudur temple (only 8 minutes by car, about 30 minutes walk). The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was very clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable and very big. We appreciated the bathroom set provided (slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel), we also appreciated the comfort of the pillows, the sofa, the big TV, the WI-FI and the outdoor area next to the room (offered a table and two sofas, great if you want to sip a cup of tea outside while chatting). We will definitely stay there again in the future!

The hotel is located around 10 min away by car/motorbike from the city center and main port. The view is amazing and there is a private beach where you can swim and canoe for free. Upon check in you get a complimentary lunch and every evening around 4 pm you get some snacks like steamed corn or fried bananas and some fruits. You can also buy extra snacks like tempe mendoan and dadar jagung and they are really good. The pindang srani that we ordered for dinner was also really good. When our boat home was moved up to 7 am, they packed our breakfast for us at 6 am in the form of indomie, chicken and an orange. Such great and helpful staff! The hotel also has a small kitchen where you can cook indomie and eggs (provided for free). There is a bathtub and shower and the hot water works well. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people who wants to visit karimun jawa.

This charming resort sits atop Tanjungan Village’s hills in Central Java, 1 km from Borobudur Temple. We drove here from Jakarta as a family with young children, looking for a new roadtrip experience for they kids. There are many many great destinations in Indonesia, but not all have the Bali international standard when it comes to accommodation, which is I guess why Plataran exists. You can trust the brand and just follow where they set up their hotels in Indonesia for a great alternative to a Bali holiday. This one in Borobudur feels like the old Ubud before social media. World class property without the hype and crowds. I know you can find many hotels like this in Bali, but the change in setting is so refreshing. The attention they put to individual guests is impressive. They set up a whatsapp group with you that the management team answers immediately.

Offering a private beach area and water sports facilities, Breve Azurine Lagoon Resort is set in Karimunjawa. The location is great. The private beach, the bar/restaurant/lounge is perfect. Food was very good and not too expensive, the kayaks and the snorkeling equipment is a + as well. Rooms are spacious and very clean
