In the nature setting of Örvényeshegy, Pálos Resort serves traditional Hungarian breakfast and houses a wine cellar, a common kitchen and living room; WiFi is available for free throughout the... Accommodation was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. I love Hungarian food, local cheese, cold meet and vegetables are exceptionally tasty. Owner lady was very kind and courteous, also, what is not a standard in Hungary owner was fluent in English. I can't recommend this location enough.

The Kék Vendégház Family Resort in Gyenesdiás offers you rooms with balcony and cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and a large garden with a swimming pool, a playground, a barbecue area and a car park. We were biking around Balaton with our grandkids. The Blue House has a nice outside pool,a beautiful garden.the staff was very very kind.The 2 rooms were immaculately clean with simple but nice furniture. A/c was a blessing.. It is in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance/ 1 2km/ from the lake and ,all the nice foodcourts I strongly recommend it.The breakfast was superb ,like in a 5 star hotel!

Superb and comfortable apartment, new and modern, fully equipped with everything you can think of. Free parking, free and easy access to the spa facilities of Carbona Hotel. Fabulous breakfast was included. Lunch and dinner in buffet style is also served in the restaurant. The price is rather high, but the choice of food is huge and it's top quality. Very good choice for the winter days, as the Carbona complex has everything you need, including the medicinal water of the Heviz lake, so you don't need to go out in bad weather. At last, but not least, it worth to mention the kind host who took care of us, watching we have everything we need. A good bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water were waiting for us at arrival. Tea bags and coffee capsule were also offered for free.
