The resort was easy to find and check in was simple. We loved our glamping pod! It was so cozy and overlooked a river. The area was very quiet and calming. We were a bit worried that the bed was going to be uncomfortable but it was actually amazing!

The house is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out - even nicer in real life if that's possible! It is set in a very picturesque 'development' of similar properties within the Lough Erne Resort and is finished to a very high standard with pretty features and gorgeous furnishings. Everything was very homely and extremely clean and comfortable. The 6 of us all felt as though we could just move in! Each of the 3 bedrooms was lovely with plenty of storage and the beds were really comfortable. One bedroom is en suite with a beautiful free standing bath, while the other 2 bedrooms have a bathroom on their doorstep, also with shower, plus there is another large bathroom downstairs with shower - this meant that each couple was able to have their own bathroom. The living area is spacious and very comfortable and when not lounging around on the settees we were sitting around the table tucking into our grub! The kitchen was adorable, looking out onto a patio and garden, and had everything we needed, including some useful bits and pieces if required, such as salt, pepper and cooking oil, tea and coffee. We loved having the selection of books on hand to browse and we made use of the blue-tooth speaker in the lounge too which paired easily with our phones. We ate in the Lough Side Grill at the hotel on our first night - less than a ten minute stroll from the house - and then on Saturday we headed into Enniskillen to Blakes for a pint of the black stuff (of course) and on to Francos where we enjoyed a fabulous meal. Regarding Peter, our host, we can't sing his praises highly enough! He has been utterly helpful, friendly, informative and accommodating throughout and we all want to say a huge Thank you! to him for making our weekend stay just perfect. We would just love to come back again very soon.

Breakfast was fabulous but really the whole experience was full of class in one of the most beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty.

I had been apprehensive after staying in a number of other hotels in NI during the past year but can say with ease, Lough Erne is head and shoulders above the competition. From driving in it is clear there is pride in it as a venue with the immaculate grounds, every staff member made the effort to speak, smile and say hello from the groundsmen, doormen, reception, bar staff, spa staff, cleaning staff, dinner staff, breakfast staff and management. It is clear all staff actually enjoy their jobs and their customer service comes naturally without being forced. I hate to pick out anyone in particular as they were all excellent but a really big thanks to the breakfast manager and team who were excellent with our baby. Room was immaculately presented, grounds and facilities were excellent as were the food and drink. Genuinely couldn’t have hoped for more.
