Offering a range of attractive apartments, Lakeland Village is situated on the banks of the River Leven, the southern outlet of Lake Windermere. The location, cleanliness, equipment, cutlery, and everything else, all were exceptional. The pictures on booking.com do little justice with the actual beauty of the property. It is exceptional with nice views, great facilities, and a lot of extras. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils and things such as umbrellas, vacuum cleaner, even a light torch, etc, that took care of even the minutest of the details impressed me. The cottages are by the riverside, so there is always that soothing sound from the river, too. The setting is quite cosy. I am looking forward to spending the holidays again.

Situated in Flookburgh in the Cumbria region and World of Beatrix Potter reachable within 29 km, Tarka Halt 1 - Haven Lakeland Leisure features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a... Location spot on 10 mins from Cartmel and Grange 20 mins from Bowness and the village of Flookbourgh and Cark 5mins away with pubs bakery and chippy. Tarka Lodge 1 was superb it was so comfy with great views over the lake also in a great spot being well away from all the action of the club and play arears but only a 10 minute walk away, the decking area of the lodge was excellent with furniture and a barbecue and the interior of the lodge was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms 1 being ensuite plenty of storage in the hallway with a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed and the living room/kitchen area gorgeous with a comfortable 3piece suit and LGE t.v on the wall.Host Emma if you needed her was always there to answer you calls or emails and just to top it off it was pet friendly to, we were a family of 4 adults and our dog and there was loads of room inside and on the decking area, we are regularly visiting Cartmel and we will definitely be staying here again.

Set 28 km from World of Beatrix Potter and offering a bar, Sunshine Lodge Haven Lakeland offers accommodation in Flookburgh. lovely place to stay. The caravan is in a quiet area of the park but not a far walk from the facilities. It has everything you need within the caravan so it's like being at home. The caravan itself is comfortable and is heated well. The owner was in regular contact to ensure that we could check in and to answer any questions. The park has a pool which we found really easy to book and was lovely and warm. There was also daytime and evening entertainment. We didn't see much of the evening entertainment due to having a tired toddler but what we did see looked great. We also didn't use the restaurants but that was due to the caravan having everything we needed to cook for ourselves. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be booking again for my family.

The stay was incredible, the lodge was absolutely beautiful. The owners was extremely helpful when messages/questions was sent Will definitely be looking to book again! The lodge was beautifully decorated, the mattress in the main bedroom is the comfiest I have stayed on! I need one! Couldn't recommend this lodge enough!
