Located 600 metres from Silgar Beach in Sanxenxo, this resort has 2 different buildings, and offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and views of the Pontevedra River. We loved everything! This resort was one of my favourite places in a very long time. I speak minimal Spanish, and the staff were so accommodating. I liked it so much that I’ve already booked a return visit with my husband in April.

Set in Melide, 47 km from Santiago de Compostela Convention Center, Casa da Ponte de Penas offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Quality finish of bedroom/bathroom, very high standard. Felt very luxurious. We swam in the pool, chilled on the sun loungers and dined on the veranda. Incredible setting, very peaceful, very hospitable.

Situato a Santa Marta de Ortigueira, in Galizia, il Celtigos Beach Resort offre un patio e la vista sul fiume. 29 km da Viveiro e offre la connessione WiFi gratuita e un parcheggio privato in loco. Location is second to none. We were about 30 seconds walk to the beach. Several other beaches around also. The house is located within in easy reach of several spectacular walks with amazing views. It was total chill out for us and beautifully isolated. Victor was a fanytastic host and gave us lots of information on the area. We will return to this stunning part of Galicia.

Affacciato sull'Oceano Atlantico, lungo la costa della Galizia, questo moderno hotel vanta ampie terrazze, un centro di talassoterapia con piscina e servizi gratuiti quali parcheggio pubblico in loco... A treat at the end of a 33km day. The spa was fabulous, I had a suite with a view. Food was fantastic. The spa staff so friendly.

Situata a Ponteareas, la Casa Do Cribeiro offre un ristorante, una piscina stagionale all'aperto, un bar e un giardino. La struttura vanta camere familiari e una terrazza. Using Sat Nav to get to the Casa took us 3 different routes but the Casa is well signposted ( Green signs “ Casa Urcela). Pontareas 10 min drive away, nice little town, plenty of free parking, EROSKI Hypermarket as well as other smaller shops, bars, cafes). The Casas (Urcela and Cribeira) have main buildings for bedrooms with a sunny communal eating area where a lovely fresh continental B/F is served by the family. The pool area is lovely with ample loungers and shaded seating areas. There are two very friendly family dogs and the family make you feel very welcome in their home. The main languages spoken are Portuguese and Spanish. Our room was quiet and cool - no A/C however the standard fan was sufficient. Very basic toiletries ( small bar of soap and bottle of hand wash), no hairdryer although I am sure the owners would lend one if needed. Parking outside the rooms (few steps up to rooms). Shaded areas with tables and benches to eat ( we took disposable BBQ) and plenty of wooded areas for dogs to roam.
