Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden. The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

A recently renovated guest house in Aswan, Miral Nubian House offers sun terrace, parking on-site and sports facilities. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Spoiler alert. I love this place! This is not a brand new property. It's a little bit on the older side. However, here are all the things to love about this place. First, the people. The staff are warm, generous and welcoming, . always returning a smile and saying hello. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens and pillows clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure in the shower excellent. All topped off with a lovely little courtyard to sit Couldn't't ask for better. The location is spectacular, with a great view of the Nile. The breakfast has lots to offer, and the restaurant in the evening is excellent. For the price point this was exceptional. If you are looking for a five-star, go to a five star. Don't rate this place poorly.

Located in Aswan, 17 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Fenti Nubian Resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel was very nice and situated right beside the Nile river. Food was really good. The staff was very helpful especially Galal and Sarah. Both of them went out of the way to ensure that the stay was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Aswan and they also arrange trips to Abu Simbel.

We are absolutely in love with this accommodation. Everything is immaculate from the incredible staff, the drop dead stunning location, comfortable and beautiful rooms, delicious food, nothing can be faulted! We didn’t expect to love it this much and absolutely plan on returning one day. I wish I could give 1000/10 because I would! You will not regret booking Kato Dool.

Experience the best of both worlds at Mövenpick Resort Aswan. Located on Elephantine Island in the middle of the River Nile, Mövenpick Resort Aswan is a world of green in harmony with nature. The staff were beyond amazing. Especially Taysser in customer relations. I left a few valuable items in safe & she ensured it was taken to lost & found, till I came back. She was the best. Other staff also were sooo good.

Set in Aswan, 14 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, The Zen Wellness Resort offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Fantastic location in the New Aswan and part of the city in a quiet tranquil position. The Hotel has a marvellous wellness feel, everything is ready and at your fingertips. Apartment was spacious, one of the best beds and showers you could possibly ask for. Now for the most important part, the Staff Farouk, Haidy Teesbah deserve a special mention for their professional, friendly and always happy disposition, in shot they were wonderful. Restaurant Staff were equally as good and were always ready to wait on you like royalty, special mention to Marina she was marvellous. Bus drivers and buggy drivers too were fantastic, prompt and polite. Zen Wellness Resort is Fabulous and deserve all the accolades, thanks for such a delight 5 nights. Neale & Christine
