Amazing atmosphere, very nicely designed rooms and common areas, attention to esthetics and detail. The views from the hotel are really lovely. Enjoyed the beautiful panorama every day. The breakfast buffet was fresh, delicious and varied. It made the start of the day fantastic. The hotel is (also) family friendly and we felt very welcome. Very nice kids' playroom.

It was after 6pm when we arrived but the staff showed us directly to our accommodation.

Surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the Upper Algäu region, the hotel offers a modern, luxurious spa oasis and lies close to three 18-hole golf courses.
Food, spa, indoor pool in good quality. Not too much people around, good to find a spot to relax.
Oberstaufen
The MONDI Resort und Chalet Oberstaufen is located on a south-facing slope, a 5-minute drive from the cable cars. It is 800 metres from the centre of Oberstaufen, and a 40-minute drive from Lindau on Lake Constance. A room with balcony and complete kitchen stuff, which we didn’t need it for our short staying, but definitely useful for family occasion.

Luxury everywhere. First you park in front of the reception and then you get a ticket to parking slot owned by hotel but localised a little bit closer to lake. Swimming pool - you get the bathing rob in room and extra towels just in swimming pool. Localisation - ideal, just between the castles. Breakfast - huge variety, very tasty.
Excellent location in a town close to Neuschwanstein Castle. The town of Fussen is a tourist resort with tourist attractions to visit and the opportunity to spend your free time. Unique underground parking, with lift for cars, very varied breakfast. The hotel staff offered us a "Fussen card" with free public transport, including to the castle and a discount on entrance to the castle.
Probably best food we had in Bavaria; including competing against some other 5 star resorts we stayed at.
Absolutely stunning location. We had a balcony room that overlooked the lake, felt like we were staying at a great resort.

We stayed here 5 years ago and loved it so we booked it again. Must be new owners because all the beautiful luxury touches were gone and we were very disappointed.
Fabulous hotel! Best location, terrific staff, wonderful restaurant and breakfast! Spa is excellent as well. The resort is spread out among several connected buildings but very quiet at night...but we were in the Alpensee rooms and they were pretty far from most of the common areas..except the spa. Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed the location of the resort being so close to the castles. It has lovely view of the lake. The staff were very helpful in providing information on walks nearby and how to get the on the day Neuschwanstein castle tour tickets.
