The standout aspect was definitely the incredible staff—everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests had an amazing time. They went above and beyond, creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home from the start. One of the things I loved was the variety of free activity classes available every day. Whether you’re into yoga, beach workouts, or water sports, there’s always something to try, and the instructors are fantastic. They keep it fun and engaging, so every day feels like an adventure if you want it to be! And let me rave about the food—easily the best I’ve had on the island. Not only is there a huge selection, but everything is also incredibly healthy and tasty. The chefs put a lot of thought into crafting meals that are as nutritious as they are delicious, and you can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients. From local Cape Verdean dishes to international options, every meal was a delight. All in all, Robinson Cape Verde combines the best of everything—an ideal location, excellent facilities, and staff that truly make the experience unforgettable. The Hilton Resort of Sal, Cabo Verde, is amazing. We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed all the facilities as the pool, access to the beach, the restaurants and the live music shows.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, SAL at HOME is situated in Santa Maria. Very nice apartment, clean and with everything you need. The host is very friendly. You can walk 6 min to beach, 10 min to downtown. Santa Maria beach is wonderful.

Located in Santa Maria, 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom villa, Sal, Cape Verde provides accommodation with a private pool, a patio and sea views. This is a lovely villa in a fabulous location, with its own pool as well as the use of the main hotel pools and other facilities. The beaches were beautiful and also surprisingly quiet; the sea was a bit rough sometimes but our three boys loved it - close supervision required though! The pools and sea were warm enough when we stayed. We opted to stay self catering; Andrew was very helpful with the location of the best supermarket where we stocked up on everything we needed for the villa; and he also gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Santa Maria. The hotel didn’t seem that busy even though it was Easter school holidays, though we didn’t eat in any of the hotel restaurants as there were so many great ones in Santa Maria. Taxis into Santa Maria were easily arranged when we didn’t want to make the 45 minute walk there.
