Boasting a splendid beachfront location inside Rosario Islands National Park, the hotel is a 1-hour boat trip from Cartagena. There is a swimming pool, massage sessions are available and guests can go on snorkelling trips. This place is absolutely amazing! After a lot of research and previous reviews, I was hesitant in booking. The place is spectacular in person and the pictures do not do it justice. The hotel is one of the best I have stayed in with views for days. We were overlooking the ocean with the best views. We woke up each morning to sounds of the waves and walking over to breakfast that overlooked the ocean was incredible. The staff provided the best service even with a language barrier. We did not know Spanish and the staff was super helpful and patient with us. The staff went above and beyond in making us comfortable during our stay. My boyfriend was sick one day and the staff went to a pharmacy to get medicine for him! Everyone was so kind and we had the best massages through the resort! I could not have asked for a better stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Baru! Two nights was the perfect amount of time here and the food was incredible. The room was the best I had seen with a jungle/cabin vibe.
Playa Blanca
With sea views, Playa Tortuga Cabaña is situated in Playa Blanca and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and sun terrace. Spa facilities is available for guests, along with a fitness room. The accommodation features full-day security, room service and currency exchange for guests. The staff was super nice, Carlos is a good guest and he provide us food and utilities that we needed, super kind, and also de owner Daiber was so kind with us. Is a basic room but is in front of the beach, you sleep with the sound of the waves, so healthy and nice. I would recommend the night here for y'all
Playa Blanca

Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. Well-equipped resort in an out-of-the-way location. It is situated on the water with abundant beach chairs, kayaks, and paddleboards. There is a bar and large two-story restaurant with an extensive menu. The food is incredible! But you must be patient. It often took 30-45 minutes for a meal to come after ordering. But everything is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients so it is worth waiting for. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the room price. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

The hotel is stunning and the resort is stunning with friendly staff. Unfortunately our room 66 on the private island was across from cholon the party island. They started blasting music at 5:00 am and went all day until 4. Not the vibe we wanted for our honeymoon. All other rooms lower than 60 should be ok for noise but just be warned about rooms 60-66!
Amazing small family resort, The private beach is great so nice peaceful and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful as well as the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. They gave as a big support and helped with to deal with local street service (taxis, boats), which is not the best.

The trip stated off with a one hour speedboat transfer from Cartagena, offering fabulous views of the city as you left the harbour. The transfer was efficient and comfortable, followed by a quick and easy check-in at the resort. The resort has several pools in addition to the ocean, so there is swimming for everyone. Rooms were clean and comfortable - try and book a bungalow if your budget allows. The resort welcomes day trippers every day, yet as a hotel guest you didn‘t see them at all.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very spacious with plenty of places to sit and have breakfast. The food is great but pricy, but then again you're in a beautiful beach resort in a tropical paradise so who cares. The hotel is right on the beach, you open your room doors and the tropical paradise beach is staring you in the face. The staff was great, very friendly.
