Boasting accommodation with a heated pool, garden view and a balcony, Hallstatt Dachstein Inn is located in Gosau. The apartment was spacious, fully equipped, large balcony, great view, exceptionally clean. The spa and wellness area was perfect after a day of skiing. Ski bus stops in front of the property taking you to the slopes in a few minutes. Th village has everything you need too. I would stay here again.
Obertraun
Featuring numerous sports facilities, this hostel in Obertraun enjoys a scenic location between Lake Hallstatt and the Dachstein range. It also has an outdoor pool and a spa area.
Each room in the Bundessport- und Freizeitzentrum Obertraun has a private bathroom and a satellite TV.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect.
Gosau

The accommodation offers a sauna, spa facilities, family-friendly restaurant and free WiFi. The location of the property is beautiful. The apartment has a mountain view from windows/balcony. The host was very cooperative and helpful.
Outdoor activities at the resort
Nice stay for a good price. Location is spot on. Lake side, walkable from Obertraun train station and there is a direct bus to hallstatt that runs once in an hour right in front from resort. Breakfast options are very nice and the indoor swimming pool is good. There is a private lake side place to sit and chill.
The surrounding was amazing. Waking up in the morning with sun just across the mountains and to see the low clouds, it was marvelous. The breakfast was very nice and complete, as well as dinner at resort restaurant.
Great location, right next to the Hallstatt lake, although on the other side of Hallstatt town. There's a park adjoining the resort, which is great for kids. The swimming pool was neat and clean.

The resort boasts an excellent playground for kids, enhancing its family-friendly appeal. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere ensure a pleasant stay.
Very nice and cosy chalet with all the necessary items. The resort is very pretty in hallstatt with nearby train bus or ferry. We had a car for which they provided free parking next to the chalet. Very clean and also good breakfast. Very friendly staff highly recommend.
The place is really awesome located just few meters away from Hallstatt lake. Which has excellent panorama view. There is also kids play area, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A boat connection directly from Dormio resort play area to Hallstatt city.
The resort is a beautiful setting and is very peaceful. The facilities are great for families including the pool and playgrounds. The chalet was generally well equipped, very comfortable and felt like a real home away from home. We went with our toddler and she was left a really good quality and roomy baby bed so we were not disturbed in the night.
Property is located in a beautiful location close to the lake shore. It is very convenient with four rooms, large space for dinong, kitchen, and even sauna. Staff was very helpful, polite, and professional. It’s 10 and 25 minutes away from two skiing resorts. Those can also be reached by frequently schedules bus.
