Great activities! During our stay we played pool, boardgames and was able to attend a safari 15min from the resort. Was peaceful and beautiful!

Lovely stay with great dinner and breakfast options. A fantastic quiet resort type safari lodge, which has self catering facilities as well as game drives close by. Breakfast was simple and delicious.

Booked a premier luxury cottage and paid in full upfront. I was later informed cottage had burnt down and they moved me to a cheaper option , I was told R962 would be credited to my room and if not used would be refunded. When I checked out I was told head office would handle it and refund my account. This was January 5 th it never happened. I wrote to them and I’m still waiting for a response. The place was more like a zoo than a real safari. . Best part was safari guide who was excellent and we saw the big 5

i liked how the manager and staff saved us! we accidentally booked a room for 2024 instead of 2023. Despite the resort being fully booked, they managed to accommodate us and extended the extra mile to really be able to fit us in! Thank you to all the staff of Aquila for making our trip happen. We truly had a very memorable time. Also, additional note that the ranger was very lively and knowledgeable.

Great for first time safari. Convenient to Capetown. Nice set up. You will likely see all the animals in one 3 hour drive. Check in was great. Staff friendly. Rooms in the luxury lodge (large block type building) were clean and some have great views of pool and surrounding mountains.

It’s a great escape from Cape Town - the views by the pool are absolutely stunning. Food was good with plenty of options also loved the star gazing experience at night. Room was comfortable and felt like luxury although sound insulation from the bathroom (due to the sliding bathroom door) could be better

The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept, the staff are super friendly and the spa is exactly where you want to be when in need of some relaxation!! Complementary drinks, snacks, teas and coffees add a nice warm touch. What we loved most about the trip was our tour guide Giaan. My partner and I were blown away by his knowledge. He also went out of his way on every trip to get us as close as possible to the animals which made for a very exciting experience! (Pictures attracted aren’t zoomed in)
