The venue is lovely and the location is magnificent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially got outstanding service from Maureen at reception.
Such a beautiful resort, spacious rooms, clean rooms, clean facilities, plenty to do, friendly staff. Great food and restaurant service is superb. Bar staff are excellent and friendly.
View was great. Enjoyed hiking in the forest. Although the trails is not marked properly, need attention one can get easily lost, we nearly did.
Great resort. Had a stunning swimming pool below us. Enjoy the braai at night, we were there for easter weekend.
The views! It is a beautiful and peaceful resort. Perfect for a complete getaway for that occasionally needed serenity.
There is a fire place for which they provide wood, so absolutely perfect for our colder days travel. The wood burns quickly and so the fire didn’t last.
This was helpful, along with the hot water bottles which they provided. An electric blanket and slow burning wood(or more wood) would’ve been much better because the houses get extremely cold.
However, I would definitely go back.
Very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and mostly the views from all rooms, spectacular.
Seeing the wild life roaming around was an absolute treat.

A lovely restful week in a well equipped cottage with forest all around us. We enjoyed seeing the Samango monkeys and Knysna Turacos. Beautiful walks and excellent facilities. The resort is surrounded by easy to tough hiking trails with amazing scenery, pools and waterfalls in the river.
The resort is lovely, well looked after and has friendly staff all around.
We will definitely return. Absolutely on our favorite list!
This is an amazing place. The staff is awesome and there is lots to do here. We had a wonderful stay with hikes, relaxing and good food. The location is perfect, and if one of your days turns into a rainy day, no worries as there is plenty to do at the resort. I highly recommend this place for everyone who like to experience one of the many amazing facets of South-Africa.
