What a gem of a place - beautiful aspect of luxury rooms looking out over manicured garden and pool. Silver service for breakfast with full buffet type options. Very well situated close to centre but still managing to be very peaceful with very easy access to a number of good restaurants.
Great interior design interplay between new and old with lovely travel theme touches throughout. Lux touches of bubbly on arrival, and others on turn down service. Great breakfast, comfortable room and luxury sanitary products.
From the point of entry to the resort, we felt as if we were in another country. The property is exceptionally well taken care of, beautifully kept grounds and facilities. The open bathroom concept was a new one. I loved that you're able to slide the glass open and watch TV while in the tub. Thank you to Veronique for adding the special goodies to our room upon arrival,that extra touch was so special. I wish we had stayed longer than just the 2 nights we were there. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Oubaai and will be back indeed.
The view was the best aspect of this resort. The chalets are private and have the cutest fish names for each chalet. The best part for me is not having a TV because it gives us the necessary time to talk, rest, walk, or drive around.
My wife and I have stayed at Burrough Place quite a few times before and as usual have received their outstanding service. Sindy was there to greet us and make a lovely breakfast for us. I can recommend staying there to anyone looking for a place to spend the night or nights. Plenty of parking for our car.

The service from the hotel staff was very good, very attentive and pleasant. The food at La Cantina and staff were of a high standard compared to other golf resort hotels in South Africa.
