The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, hotel in Benner

Situated in Benner, 700 metres from Cowpet Bay Beach, The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden.

I’m fond of fine dining but for a little fella from Tennessee I would have loved some bacon/ham, home fried potatoes and eggs. Maybe just a hash of some kind. And the menu, which was delicious, was limited. I love a good tuna sandwich, you provide one, but that’s more my cold cut for lunch rather than my breakfast to get started with.

The apt was nice, modern, good closet space, clean, and it's a pretty, small resort, right on the water, with big pool on the beach too. There's a bar/restaurant on the water for nice sunsets and happy hour menu, and a pool restaurant and market too. The beach is a bit rocky and has no shade but there are some chairs above the beach facing water on the grass, though watch out for iguanas falling from trees!

All the rooms have a view, which is awesome. We also like that this is a smaller resort. It is more cozy and easy to navigate. The property is nicely kept with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Plus, the resort’s duck at the pool is super cute and so nice to be greeted by. 😍

We had plans to go explore downtown and the island a bit more, but how could we when the pool was so exciting. The staff at the pool bar was exceptional and made our trip the best it could've been. Food and drinks were super affordable as well. Our room had a prime view of the beach, and the resort is easy to navigate.
