The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, hotel in Charlotte Amalie

Situated in Benner, 700 metres from Cowpet Bay Beach, The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden.

I’m fond of fine dining but for a little fella from Tennessee I would have loved some bacon/ham, home fried potatoes and eggs. Maybe just a hash of some kind. And the menu, which was delicious, was limited. I love a good tuna sandwich, you provide one, but that’s more my cold cut for lunch rather than my breakfast to get started with.

Celebrated my 60th birthday at Elysian Resort! We enjoyed our stay, and the staff is wonderful. The staff catered to our every need and was very friendly. We enjoyed talking to them about the island and island life. We also enjoyed being greeted by them. The beach is amazing!

Loved this hotel! It looked exactly like the pictures online. The views of the city from the hotel were breathtaking! I loved the colors, the decor, the amenities. It felt like luxury in nature and city life altogether.

This is not at one of the big resorts and the price reflects. However it was clean and comfortable and the location for us was excellent. We had a car and this place is about dead center to everything!! There was a slight mix up at the begining about what day we were arriving and Darren did an excellent job of getting us in to our room. We loved Saint Thomas and would return to this room again.

Upon my arrival at the resort, I was met with friendly and helpful reservation staff, including the gentleman who showed me to the room. I had an awesome harbor view, allowing a generous sighting for the cruise ships in port. The room size was perfect and the room décor was Island casual, with tropical overtones. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again. Thanks for a nice time.

Cool budget resort! It’s up on a hill but not a bad walk to downtown or to the yacht harbor. Great staff!

Beautiful views of the harbor! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just know that the resort is up a fairly steep hill (short, but steep).

The location was A1. In the heart of everything! Great food, nightlife and shopping. The breakfast in the a.m was a cute touch as well. The staff were all very friendly and offered great suggestions about things in the area. I loved how quiet, clean and quaint the resort was and the views were amazing

We booked at the last minute because of flight issues related to Hurricane Fiona. It was a fairly stressful time for us and probably for the staff also, but the staff could not have been more helpful. They gave us information about the area, helped us get a taxi when we needed to leave on short notice. Outstanding service.

The overall experience was exceptional, especially for USVI. As a full time resident, and one that lives on a boat full time, the occasional hotel stay on island is necessary, but as we aren’t on “holiday”, paying respectable prices for resort quality stays is very much appreciated. Castle Villas at Blackbeards will be my first choice every time.
