Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort, hotel in Tucson

Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson has an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour front desk, as well as free WiFi throughout the property.

Hacienda del Sol was absolutely a dream and far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the king room with mountain view and I highly recommend it. It was beyond spacious and the bed was super super comfortable. We loved the extra large bathroom and separate sinks, and huge walk in shower. Great water pressure, nice and hot. The little patio was awesome to look out at the mountains and woodpeckers and birds. We had delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. I also had a CBD massage which was so relaxing. The property itself was so peaceful and endless little spots to chill. Also loved the complimentary coffee near the library. What a property! Wow.

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, hotel in Tucson

Just 2.5 mi from Sabino Canyon, this Tucson resort features a world-renowned tennis center, 2 desert golf courses and an on-site spa. Free WiFi is provided in each guest suite.

We used booking.com and booked this room at the last minute for what we consider a steal! Walking into the room just blew us away. We had a beautiful view off the private balcony. We ordered room service (TWICE) and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were definitely out of our element, but every staff member we encountered treated us amazingly. The maids even let me check out a room they were cleaning with a spiral staircase! So cool! If we are ever back in this area we will definitely be staying here again! What a great place!

Starr Pass Golf Suites, hotel in Tucson

In the foothills next to Tucson Mountain Park in Arizona, this all-suite hotel offers enjoyable facilities such as a 27-hole golf course as well as on-site dining options.

• One (1) day before we arrived, I received a long voice mail message from the property announcing an upcoming renovation of the golf clubhouse, which included closure of the restaurant and bar and other amenities. We had made this reservation through Booking.com three months earlier, and Booking charged us for the full stay in advance. When I called the property and asked why we were not notified earlier, the response was that “we only heard about this from the golf club a week ago.” • Since we were driving down from Oregon we did not want to scramble and try to change this reservation and book another property elsewhere. • The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom amenities disappointing (tiny container shampoo for two people for two nights? The coffee was terrible and no creamer was provided – I drove to the clubhouse to get some. • Even though most hotels these days have you pre-pay your stay, and then also ask for a credit card to put a hold on a security deposit “for possible damages, or having a pet in your room, etc,” the first morning of our stay we had to listen to a small dog barking right next door to us. • On several occasions wi-fi slowed down or stopped working.

We love Loews Ventana Canyon Resort! We used to live 4 minutes away just a few years ago. It's a fantastic place in a wonderful location. Many great amenities, many decorations, beautiful grounds. We had an amazing Mother's Day breakfast as well.

Beautiful setting; very nice facilities, great location . Staff was very responsive to our needs/concerns when WiFi didn’t work in our room. They moved us to an upgraded room and waived the resort fees for the 3 nights

Breakfast was excellent although not included in the base hotel price. We stayed in the older part of the resort in a room featuring 1920s Spanish architecture and furnishings which we liked a lot but maybe other guests would not. Dinner was also excellent but did require reservations.. Made use of their warm water pool even though temperatures were in the 60s and low 70s. The grounds were lovely rife with the local vegetation including the giant Surgaro cactus. The staff was generally friendly and helpful.

No longer a resort for families, emphasis appears to be corporate meetings. The public spaces are well maintained and up to date. The bed was comfortable.
