The room itself is very nice and spacious (Sagebrush Villa). Has an electric fireplace and a nice view to the exterior. It was spotless upon arrival and everything was nice and tidy. We also had the pack n play we requested for our daughter and bowls for our puppy. It is not too far from stores and restaurants. Maybe 12-15min drive and has a nice path for walking, if you leave early enough you could see the hot air balloons.

My recent stay at Carter Estate Winery Resort was a blend of highs and lows. The room, featuring a comfortable bed and a balcony with a captivating vineyard view, initially impressed me. Notably, the room was clean upon check-in, setting a positive tone for the stay. The wine tasting experience elevated the experience with its diverse and high-quality selection.

If you are looking for a posh resort this is not it. However, if you are looking for a unique rustic location with outstanding hosts AND you love animals.....THIS IS IT! We loved feeding and petting the animals and the hosts were always willing to give us advice on local things to do in Temecula.

Have stayed at Carter Estate before. It is a Temecula Valley prefect retreat to enjoy a small but beautiful resort. Please do try their the wines and take the shuttle to the sister winery, Southcoast.

The premises of the resort were picturesque: beautiful green golf courses with its soft rolling hills; mountains in the background with its protruding boulders/rocks, lots of green trees, and a few flowing fountains. It definitely created a very tranquil atmosphere!

Front reception was very pleasant. Totally appreciated the bottle of wine. The resort/room was quiet clean and relaxing .wish we could have stayed longer. Only recommendation would be to have wine tasting hours until a bit later in the day. We had gone on a trail ride in the afternoon and were not able to get back by 5:00.

I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. And Dash I travel extensively. The owners of this hotel treated like a five-star resort. The room was so pristine. All kinds of extra little amenities. Everything was absolutely spotless. And the staff was so kind. This is an amazing place to stay. I mean, maybe it’s not decorated like the four seasons - but for my two days stay there it was amazing. You can just tell when management really cares about their facility.

The resort is hidden away at the back of the driveway. The room was quite large with electric fireplace, dining table and sofa area. Huge bathroom. Breakfast was delivered earlier than we had requested but we were awake so no complaints with the early delivery. We were able to watch the hot air balloon over the vineyard. Charming. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside on the little patio. We'll have to go back!
