It’s had a super nice lobby/1st floor layout. Everything felt like a tropical resort which was honestly super nice! I personally live in the valley so come to the beach often and never seen such a nice hotel lobby before.
We loved that the back of the home was the deck with a full view of the natural habitat. It was so peaceful and quiet, it was perfect. It's situated in Long Island Village, which is a private resort with awesome amenities like a golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs & jacuzzi's, as well as a gym and outdoor activities like volleyball.
When we got to the resort, we were greeted by Elizabeth. She was cheerful and very helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable.
Barry's bistro was excellent. Great pizzas.
And the bar tends were awesome!
The proximity to the beach, it’s a short walk down a path and you have great beach view from the resort restaurant, many places on the grounds, and from many of the rooms (including ours). The amenities were also better than expected: wonderful pool area, poolside bar, poolside hamburger stand, live music by the pool and restaurant, scores of palm trees that add so much to the ambience…overall a great experience and we’ll definitely be back!
