Experience the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and adventure at Forest Suites Resort in South Lake Tahoe.

The location is excellent. The staff was so friendly and professional. Although the resort is dated, the beds were super comfortable and everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely return. And highly recommend.

Holiday Inn Express South Lake Tahoe, an IHG Hotel, hotel in South Lake Tahoe

This South Lake Tahoe, California is only a 10 minute walk from the top-rated trails at Heavenly Ski. It features a seasonal outdoor pool and spacious rooms with coffee facilities.

Room was nice, and clean. Location was great. Staff was friendly (e.g. with luggage storage and permission of parking on the day of departure til 4 pm); Breakfast was moderate quality (better than what I have experienced in other inexpensive South Tahoe Hotels).

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, hotel in South Lake Tahoe

We are conveniently located within walking distance from Heavenly Ski Resort Gondola and Heavenly Village shopping and dining.

From the first day the room was dirty, the bath was blocked if a lot hair , no way to take shower I complained to the manager second was the same then I decide to leave and cancel the third day. When I asked to the lady on reception Wendy to cancel my last day and reimburse my money she was unpolite and told me they can't do nothing about becouse I booked by booking.com and they should take care about my problem and also she told me I never should book by booking.com because she not able to do nothing about , but ridiculous was when I called the booking.com costumer service and the guy on the phone told to call the hotel and try to solve the problem , what's the security and purpose to use booking.com. I guess I should follow the lady advice and not booking trough booking.com any more . Conclusion both got the worst costumer service and definitely I will not use booking.com anymore

Our apartment was a few levels down (stair access only) and it would have been difficult for my physically disabled mother to go to the apartment. Upon request the front desk immediately gave us a more accessible apartment.

It is well located, right on the border between California and Nevada. With walking access to several businesses/restaurants/activities, the room is spacious, with a separate living area from the bedroom, double vanities, and double TVs. We enjoyed the swimming pool / hot tub, with access to seats, extra towels, and an outdoor terrace. Although we did not come prepared for it, the valet staff were super friendly. There are many breakfast and dinner options inside the resort.

The resort is close to most of the attractions. Even though the room was repainted or it looks old and outdated but it is very clean. Whatever we needed were available. Enough towels were stocked despite one has some black stains on it.

All staff throughout the resort but especially the front desk were top notch, incredibly helpful and friendly. Location was amazing, go for a waterfront room if possible. Bathroom was a little basic (but more importantly was clean!) but the actual bedroom was very comfy
