I love Jamestown in general. I got married during my stay, at Fort Getty, so the weekend was beautiful. I did not get to enjoy the pool, but the balcony and the view, loved💕

Overall the resort was very nice and the renovation was a wonderful upgrade. We liked the pool area, had a nice breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed the location.
The location of The Wellington was superb! Had a view of the water from our balcony, resort was right off of Thames Street, could walk to shops, restaurants and even the Cliff Walk (for those, like us, who love to walk).
The room was large and comfortable. Fully supplied kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a living room with a pullout couch. We had a group of ladies enjoying a few days in beautiful Newport. We were all very happy with the resort.
I love the location and professionalism of the staff.. I was in search for a place for my family to stay. Wellington Resort EXCEEDED my family’s expectations.. Great walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shops
Loved the room and location. View was spectacular. Super friendly staff and amazingly quick check-in. Newport is a great town and the hotel is near to everything. I would have liked to see a little more at the resort for kids. Space was limited but maybe a small play area (swingset)? Also, the biggest deficiency was how dated the suite was. It was large and comfortable, but getting old. Kind of had an 80's look.
Spectacular view, amazing location, very quiet, ample parking, resort i sin the middle of it all, walking distance to exceptional dining. Great suite, private full kitchen with all appliances and dinnerware, washer, dryer. Very comfortable. Accommodated 4 if us very comfortably. Staff was professional. Lots of clean soft towels, didn't have to ask for more. Clean. Balconies with seating overlooking the water and docks.
