The lake view was great. The unit was very spacious and met our needs. The kitchen was adequate. Proximity to golf at the Resort, the beach at Siskiyou Lake and Castle Lake, a plus. The pleasant town of Mt. Shasta offered breakfast and dinner restaurant choices.

My fourth stay at Mt Shasta Resort cabins along the lake. Just can’t beat the location. Especially ideal for family reunions! Our family rented 5 cabins and had a blast! Tons of outdoor fun, and the proximity to town for restaurants is ideal.

Room was very clean and smelled fresh. The hotel was super close to Mt. shasta ski resort which was very convenient for us. This place is reasonably priced for our needs. Will stay again in the future!

Great location, friendly and professional front desk, room was clean and well organized. The coffee and tea set was even nicer than the one at a famous 3-star resort hotel in Shasta where we stayed before. Trains run at midnight and early in the morning, so if you are sensitive to noise, it's better to know in advance (they provide earplugs).

I have been lodging at Shasta Inn on and off for nearly a decade. I keep returning not just because of the location (which is perfect if you are looking for everything nearby) but the staff. They are exceptional. Since they remodeled all their rooms, it even has a resort flair. Love the managers. They take pride in working there and making sure every is accommodated: with a smile, and great attitude. I highly recommend this lodge.

The location of the Mount Shasta Resort is unbeatable. Hiking right outside your door and cabins set away that provides a fairly quiet time. The rooms are exceptionally large and have all the needed amenities - fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, lots of tea bags, hairdryer. There are large rooms with kitchens perfect for a family that needs an extended stay and I have used those facilities on previous occasions.
