Our host, David, was extreme kind, on-time and helpful in giving directions. Prior arrival we discussed all operational details related to check - in. Proximity of a grocery store, restaurants and Starbucks made this to a complete, all-inclusive apartment stay.

Great location, walking distance to the metro and 15 mins walk from central station for access to six flags via train to new hall and the resort trolley. Rooms spacious and modern. All the staff were friendly and courteous including the cleaners and especially Masuma on the front desk =)

Great location within 12 minute walk to the bottom of the hill to Universal Studios (take the tram up the hill) or a $7 Uber ride. Starbucks, grocery, Togo's sandwiches, grocery store, all within a block and a half. Cute Casita style rooms that look like they're from 1950's Hollywood but updated. This is not a resort but the rooms are roomy, comfortable, clean, updated, and basic. Everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Would definitely stay here again.

Place is luxury, location is decent with good food choices around, heaps of parking around the street just look for it rather than doing valet for $50.

It has a resort kind feeling, a great bar area, and the frontyard restaurant is inside the Garland premises. We enjoyed it till late at night as the bar frontyard restaurant opened till midnight over the weekends and until 11 on the weekdays. It was fun...... it has a great vibe, especially in the evening when they lit the torches in the frontyard.

Staff was extremely friendly. There was a pleasant courtyard and nice looking cafe downstairs. It was walking distance from the Grove, a nice park and bus lines. There were a few on-sight parking spaces and the rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. It's not a luxury hotel that you'd want to spend your day lounging around in, but we didn't expect it to be.
