The location is perfect. Plenty to do at the resort and walking distance to nearby attractions. Nice, clean, rooms, and pool area. Top notch entertainment!
This room was perfect. It had a living area, a kitchen, a bedroom. It was great! The room was super cozy but with plenty of room, clean and perfectly set up. The location of Rockwood Resort Motel was ideal for me. I would definitely stay here when I come to visit family again.
Owners Kristen and Oscar were over the top fun and accommodating! Everything from the initial pre-check in Q&A that were answered quickly, to dining out suggestions they had and things to do, the wave runners were fast, and the entire trip was fantastic. Super cool resort and plenty of things to do. Didn't want to leave, but holiday trips can only last so long.
I was surprised at the quantity of the complimentary breakfast and the fact that it wasn't just a continental breakfast. Ultimately we upgraded to a steak and eggs for a more than reasonable upcharge and a very nice dining area. The rooms were dated but extremely comfortable and well maintained. Lots of character and easy access throughout the resort.
The outdoor pool area by the bar was nice and spacious, the multiple restaurant options on the resort were nice as well, bar by the pool, views of the lake
