Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
Location was perfect. A touch of the “woods” feel but very close to the beach. The staff were all extremely helpful and nice. From the previous reviews, I knew the thin walls might be a problem so we took a fan for the bedroom and that drowned out the noise while sleeping. There is tons to do just at the resort itself! My kids didn’t want to leave!
This is my 2nd time staying here. I love everything about it. The condos are clean, and you have everything you need in the kitchen to cook. There are trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap for one wash, even shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and hand soap in the bathroom. I love the outdoor pool, the resort having it's own private parking lot for the beach. The staff are always kind and helpful. While we were there, we went ahead and booked for next year. Everything we come to obx, this is where we stay.
We love staying here every year. We love all the activities and stuff to do in the resort, this time there were not as many activities as usual which was disappointing but the staff did give us ideas to buy and do back at our room…. The staff was so sweet and nice as always…
The location of the resort was perfect. Maybe 5 minutes from the beach. A plus was that the resort had its own parking lot right next to the beach access so we did not have to worry about finding parking.
We participated in so many activities!! We had a quiet family gathering, and my 20-something kid just couldn't stop dragging us to some of the art, painting, building, etc., activities at the resort. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and paddle boats!!
Our rooms were amazing. We had a suite with bedrooms, and it was odd, as it was two connected suites, so we had two kitchens, but I have no complaints there. There was lots of storage and plenty of space. We had a blast!
Love the location, rooms and suites are great size! Plenty of room for families to spend time together yet still have your own space! We love beachwood resort and it's always our go to when planning a trip to the outer banks! We all enjoyed the trails and love the indoor water park!
Not having the big green slide operational was a disappointment. Having only generic answer of its not safe was ok but its 2024 time to tell exactly what the plans are. If you don't have any...well, schedule a meeting with staff and make some. Customers are spending money to be at your resort. Try putting yourself in their shoes....
