OFF THE CHARTS spectacular ocean front location NEWLY STYLISHLY RENOVATED resort with a lot of usable beachfront, piers extending into the ocean, and NEW first-class pool with Tiki Bar including wine & beer service.
Observed Guests using the included kayaks, paddle boards & bicycles.
Very much reminded me of beach front communities like Ormond Beach in Florida and Lavalette in New Jersey.
Staff, Leia, Francisco & Simone, were very helpful, informative and personable.
BTW - even though a coffee-maker is included with your room, Paris Coffee Truck on the property was a treat!
Also, the boutique at the entrance to the resort, Sea La Vie, has a wide assortment of desirable upscale resort items.

The property is beautiful. The landscaping is done to perfection. The pool is nicely appointed with plenty of towels. Sometimes getting lounge chairs was a little tight. Music played throughout the property and that was a nice touch and so were the fire torches. The grounds were kept very clean and so were the pool bathrooms. The marina was a highlight because of the fish and manatees. We also took a charter to go fishing from the marina and that was great.
Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
We have been going to this resort for many years. We love Islamorada and the location is perfect. Currently, there is construction to renovate and add-on to the beachside restaurant, which will be very nice. They have alot of recreational and beach amenities over the past few years. The grounds are beautiful. It is pet-friendly, which is a plus, but they definitely need more disposal units for walking the dogs. The front office staff and pool-side bartenders were exceptionally nice and had excellent customer service.
Loved the location, price, facilities, and that paddle boards, kayaks and bikes were included with price. I also loved that they allowed us to hang out at resort before and after our stay. The staff is excellent and so helpful.
Loved the amenities included, location, staff and layout of the property for our family to stay in Islamorada. This resort is peaceful and playful for families especially with kids and fur babies.
Check lodge is an all inclusive resort with games, a fishing pier with rods and bait, paddle boards, a game room and multiple restaurants. It has a large man made beach and two pools.
Don’t come with any grandiose expectations of this being an all inclusive luxury resort. this place was built in the 50s-70s era.
