This Penthouse is on the top floor of the Imperial Hawaii Resort. It has a spectacular uninterrupted view over the ocean. Its is in a great location close to shops and restaurants.
The owners were great, we had an issue with the internet and they sent someone out that day to fix it. Also had an issue with the aircon and someone came to fix that too.
Room was good. Not exactly Ocean front as requested and stated on our booking confirmation, the next room around the side of the building. Location was good.
Big surprise when we went to settle the account. We thought we had fully prepaid the room costs in advance through Booking.com. However, we were hit with a "Resort Fee of USD$50 per night plus a range of taxes. This was a shock and a rort really. Would be much happier paying for what we actually used!
We couldn’t fault the hotel and the staff working there! Our stay was memorable and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! It was quiet and you felt like you had privacy as opposed to some of the bigger resorts.
The OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort boasts an ideal location close to shopping, restaurants, and the picturesque beachfront. Its convenient proximity to these attractions ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests seeking relaxation and exploration in the heart of Waikiki.
What a gem. The location could not be better. The staff were lovely. We had an upgraded room which was huge. The beach right off the hotel is perfect for small children with a water break. I know people have complained about the breakfast but we found it to be a completely acceptable buffet continental breakfast for a 3-star hotel. This isn't an all-inclusive resort so just set your expectations accordingly. If you want something fancier there are plenty of other options around.
We LOVED staying here. It was a luxury resort, on a small scale. Exactly what we wanted visiting and enjoying the beautiful Hawaii. The staff were helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the bar in the evening.
