The room was very clean and the resort was very kind on leaving the instructions and the room’s key because I couldn’t reach the place by the check in is admitted.
Hotel opened two weeks before my stay so everything was new and modern. Free breakfast that was not traditional continental fare and complimentary champagne at check in. No resort fees or parking fees and they allow dogs for a minimal fee. Very clean property located in middle of carmel so you can walk everywhere downtown. Friendly staff. Wonderful shower, bathroom and toiletries too.
Nothing. Dirty room poor service. It’s call a resort but has no amenities no bar restaurant outdoor activities. Our first room had paint peeling in the shower we asked to change rooms and were told we could no view the room and if we decide to move it’s would be final. Staff had no information on any activities no recommendations. No booklets to help us choose or how to get to them…. So bad.
Rooms are in separate tiny houses, with their own parking space. Our room was on the lower end of the resort, therefore very calm. In the room it was spacious enough, equipped with all the extras you may need during your stay (iron, heater, ventillator etc). It was clean, check in & check out easy and fast. Staff was helpful. Locationwise is a good choice, restaurants/bars are in walking distance, as well as the beach - however, be prepared for steep walks! 😉
We liked the resort type feel of it. The golf course is beautiful. Our room is nice and clean. The lobby and the sitting/lounge areas are nice and cozy. The outdoor dining area is nice.
