The property was the ideal atmosphere for a weekend in Big Bear. The cabins were clean and comfortable and felt secluded from other properties. We did not have a key originally waiting for us but the staff quickly came and sorted out our cabin. The private entrance to the lake was a huge plus. We loved the option of canoes and outdoor eating areas. The light music and warm fires all around the property were lovely. We loved that we could walk into town and enjoy the quiet neighborhoods. Had all the amenities you would want for a beautiful weekend in the mountains.

Great location, closer to ski resort which was my primary concern. It’s a very cozy and small hut like cabin and if you’re out a lot then it’s a great stay. The cabin had a fully working kitchen. It’s PET friendly (w/ small fee)which was a big plus, and the outside it perfect for a short walk around the area.
Location location location! Right in the village so you can walk everywhere and only a five minute drive down the main road to the ski resorts of snow summit and bear mountain! I also thought the room was very well maintained and cozy even though it’s not modern. The fact it’s very “log cabin in the 70’s” style is exactly why I like it so much. Anyone can stay at a best western if that’s important to you. Love the fireplace on the room that heats up very quickly.
