I enjoyed everything about this accomodation and in particular the warmth of the personnel. They all do their outmost to make the client happy. Travelling alone in Uganda can be quite a challenge, I felt at home at Gkat resort.

We had a great stay at GKAT resort. Manager Richard and his super friendly staff made our stay amazing! It’s located just a few minutes outside the heart of Mbarara, has a great garden with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The chef cooks delicious food and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. A crystal clear recommendation for anyone visiting this region. We will return! Did I mention the low prices and clean and comfortable spacious rooms?

Away from the noisy crowded city. Awesome views. GKAT resort is peaceful and quiet; big room, comfortable beds with hot water; friendly staff and good food! We really enjoyed our stay. The fire in the evening and the chairs around was great! Pork ribs and chicken tikka masala were delicious. And the Wi-Fi is fast! The host was happy to help at all times, they even walked with us to a big pond close to the resort.

GKAT resort is the perfect spot to unwind. The place is serene and has awesome views. The rooms are quite spacious, and their breakfast will exceed your expectation. While there, be sure to try their pork ribs. The staff are courteous and ready to help. Mr. Richard is an amazing host, ready to help at all times. He recommended Mr. Theodore, a cab operator, who took us to various places around mbarara and to queen Elizabeth National Park. We definitely would want to be back to GKAT.
