We had an absolutely fantastic time in the Junior Suite for 11 days. The staff were so warm and friendly, they really made us feel at home. And the location was simply perfect – we could even swim in the sea at low tide!
Now, there were a couple of things that weren't quite up to scratch, but the reception staff were so kind and always ready to help. They'd happily order a taxi for us if we needed one, and it only took an hour to get into town.
The food was amazing, even though it was a buffet. The chefs were so friendly and always remembered what we liked. There's a great selection of both continental and local dishes, and the fresh fruit and cakes are amazing! We never had the same menu twice, which we really appreciated.

The resort is located directly on the beach. It peaceful and quiet, and makes for a perfect destination if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Staff are friendly, and Sheikha, the manager, was especially helpful during our stay. We were initially in a 2 bedroom family room, but since there was an issue with the drain smell that couldn't be sorted immediately, Sheikh moved us to two separate rooms which were equally comfortable if not, better. Breakfast was great, and the chef was keen to take a special request on one of the days. The hotel grounds and the pool are well kept and cleaned every morning.
On days we wanted to take a taxi to restaurants in the area, Sheikha arranged with the hotel driver to take us and bring us back.

The best aspect of this hotel is its convenient location, which is not far from the Ferry Terminal. Additionally, the taxi service from Suleiman is reliable. The hospitality provided by Ta'leah, and Ms. Sylvnah Chan, the manager, was exceptional who worked hard to find another room which had a working AC, and tried to follow up on the missing purse.

A very pleasant hotel, they work hard to keep everything clean. Not sure if the pool is treated regularly with chlorine.
Staff are always smiling and hard working, they really do a great job and long hours. Asante Sana
There is literally nothing to do unless you get a taxi 45 mins in either direction. So if you're after a holiday in a hotel, it's great, but that's all there is. Not really a beach neither.

The property and grounds were so clean. Beautiful hotel with nice view and nice restaurants. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend the Villa Beach front
Travellers who truly “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
The room is too clean and very nice. The food is also delicious with a lot of variety. The staff are so friendly, actually it's not only the staff but the Zanzibar communities in general are very friendly. But what I recommend to you is that it's better to book for " all inclusive" because the resort is far from the city. Thank you Bay resort
Check in easy when we arrived late. Staff are lovely and friendly. We had the all-inclusive package and were upgraded to a higher level one which was great!
Food and cocktails really good. My daughter has been to similar resorts in Mauritius and said food here is much better. Rooms are pretty basic but have all you need.
My second time here and will be back. Thank you for a fabulous visit
Oh, February is super hot - 34 degrees with a real feel of 40 so bear that in mind..
absolutely love this place! Very comfortable room, AC works very well, shower works nicely. Wifi works well, Electricity too.
Resort was really great, employees were smiling all the time and nothing was a problem.
Food was delicious every day. Big variation of food for breakfast lunch and dinner! Big respect for the kitchen!
Pools were fantastic and clean. Trips from hotel great as well. All what was agreed worked!
All inclusive package worth it.
Thank you for beautiful vacation.
Paradise is a very aesthetically pleasing resort on a nice beach. The weather was amazing in August.
The resort is clean and well maintained, the staff are well trained and pleasant. I liked the quality of the food as well. Many props to the mixologists, their cocktails are very good!
You should book the all-inclusive option, you might just get upgraded to premium!
I think the animation team could poll guests about activities they would like, they had low turn outs often.
Whether you're staying with family, friends or by yourself, this is a fantastic beachfront resort. Great pools, really good food and friendly staff. The rooms are well equipped, spacious and clean. We bought the all-inclusive package and were upgraded to the premium package (with more alcohol options) on arrival.
The location was remote, and peaceful. Away from the party resorts, something my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed.
The resort had everything necessary, breakfast, lunch, and supper buffets, as well as an a la carte restaurant, three fully stocked bars - very capable bar tenders, two massive pools, and great entertainment and a rather private beach with amazing sunrises.
There were all inclusive tours everyday, with a great guide. I would recommend the Mnemba Island, and Prison Island tours.
This is a wonderful resort for a family or couples holiday. We loved it.
Definitely recommend the all inclusive option.
So much activity arranged at the hotel to keep you busy, wondeful pools across 2 resorts.
Access to tours directly from the hotel for snorkeling, sand bar visits, scuba diving and about a 45 minute taxi from Stone Town.
The resort has great character and gives you real nice African vibe the second you arrive.
The Pools, Rooms and Bars were all great and the food each day as we were all inclusive was very good… standard to most places that offer that type of feature.
The evening entertainment when on was also very good.
Staff are first class, very friendly and polite and you were made to feel very welcome.
Zanzibar bay resort has amazing facilities! The pool is amazing! The drinks for the all inclusive is amazing. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. The rooms have AC and you have a little stoop.
Beautiful views from your room.
The staff is extremely friendly.
