Maharaja Boutique Hotel Zanzibar, hotel in Uroa

Set in Uroa, less than 1 km from Uroa Public Beach, Maharaja Boutique Hotel Zanzibar offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

A great place if you want to experience and enjoy the island. The food is excellent, the staff are always ready to help, the hotel is designed for a small number of people and we did not feel the presence of other people. The personalized beach is top. Large territory on which live monkeys! We felt really on a tropical island! The special dinner by the pool did not leave us indifferent! Thank you Maharaja, we will be back !

MANOLO Beach Resort, hotel in Uroa

Situated in Uroa, a few steps from Uroa Public Beach, MANOLO Beach Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant.

The resort is located directly on the beach. It peaceful and quiet, and makes for a perfect destination if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Staff are friendly, and Sheikha, the manager, was especially helpful during our stay. We were initially in a 2 bedroom family room, but since there was an issue with the drain smell that couldn't be sorted immediately, Sheikh moved us to two separate rooms which were equally comfortable if not, better. Breakfast was great, and the chef was keen to take a special request on one of the days. The hotel grounds and the pool are well kept and cleaned every morning. On days we wanted to take a taxi to restaurants in the area, Sheikha arranged with the hotel driver to take us and bring us back.

Amani Villas Nature Retreat, hotel in Uroa

Situated in Michamvi, a few steps from Michamvi Kae Beach, Amani Villas Nature Retreat features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

The views are beautiful and the environment is very peaceful. The villa is beautiful, spacious and great value for money. The food is nice and the staff are flexible and accommodating. Considering the fact that you'll have most of your food at the hotel because other places are far away, the prices are not too bad. Just western adjacent, I'd say. Having a lovely secluded beach so close is great. Lots of nice touches like a telescope and easel and paint (even though I didn't fully use them) The cleaning was daily and thorough, including the pool. There was a turndown service on one evening. (not sure what happened on the other nights)

The room is too clean and very nice. The food is also delicious with a lot of variety. The staff are so friendly, actually it's not only the staff but the Zanzibar communities in general are very friendly. But what I recommend to you is that it's better to book for " all inclusive" because the resort is far from the city. Thank you Bay resort

Check in easy when we arrived late. Staff are lovely and friendly. We had the all-inclusive package and were upgraded to a higher level one which was great! Food and cocktails really good. My daughter has been to similar resorts in Mauritius and said food here is much better. Rooms are pretty basic but have all you need. My second time here and will be back. Thank you for a fabulous visit Oh, February is super hot - 34 degrees with a real feel of 40 so bear that in mind..

Paradise is a very aesthetically pleasing resort on a nice beach. The weather was amazing in August. The resort is clean and well maintained, the staff are well trained and pleasant. I liked the quality of the food as well. Many props to the mixologists, their cocktails are very good! You should book the all-inclusive option, you might just get upgraded to premium! I think the animation team could poll guests about activities they would like, they had low turn outs often.

Whether you're staying with family, friends or by yourself, this is a fantastic beachfront resort. Great pools, really good food and friendly staff. The rooms are well equipped, spacious and clean. We bought the all-inclusive package and were upgraded to the premium package (with more alcohol options) on arrival.

The location was remote, and peaceful. Away from the party resorts, something my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. The resort had everything necessary, breakfast, lunch, and supper buffets, as well as an a la carte restaurant, three fully stocked bars - very capable bar tenders, two massive pools, and great entertainment and a rather private beach with amazing sunrises. There were all inclusive tours everyday, with a great guide. I would recommend the Mnemba Island, and Prison Island tours.

This is a wonderful resort for a family or couples holiday. We loved it. Definitely recommend the all inclusive option. So much activity arranged at the hotel to keep you busy, wondeful pools across 2 resorts. Access to tours directly from the hotel for snorkeling, sand bar visits, scuba diving and about a 45 minute taxi from Stone Town.

The resort has great character and gives you real nice African vibe the second you arrive. The Pools, Rooms and Bars were all great and the food each day as we were all inclusive was very good… standard to most places that offer that type of feature. The evening entertainment when on was also very good. Staff are first class, very friendly and polite and you were made to feel very welcome.
