Hotel and stuff are simply perfect doing more than expected to make you feel like real queen ,from early accommodation at 05a.m.to huge clean rooms with everything inside
Food is excellent and they are offering various dishes,both fish,meat,pasta,pizza,fresh salad and fruit,a huge desert options
The spa experience is also perfect with real professionals working inside
The pool is quite big and very clean with a lot of sun beds around
The beach is white sand with azure water,very clean and nice
It is a perfect place for honeymoon as well as couples with children

We had an amazing stay. From the pool to the food, everything was amazing. There is a small restaurant on site which serves delicious food at a fair price. The owner and her team went above and beyond with passion and a smile. We visited multiple places across Zanzibar and this was our favorite spot.

We had a beautiful Sea View Suite. There wasn't a beach as we expected, you have to take a shuttle to it, but the pool and food was great. In particular the staff were friendly and Ms Fatema and Ms Landy made a very special effort in making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. There is entertainment each night and a lovely spa too.

Great location, right on the beach with stunning view. It’s a little bit out of the way from the west coast of Nungwi, which is more crowded and touristy. For us this was an advantage, as beach here was more peaceful, and there were not so many «beach boys» in the area. The outside area of the hotel was great with palm trees, sun beds and hammocks. Simply perfect for a relaxing day at the beach.
The staff was wonderful and really was one of the best things about this hotel!

We had an incredible stay at the Royal Hotel Zanzibar! We booked a Sea View room, and the view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the sight of the turquoise ocean every morning was a highlight of our trip. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with all the comforts we needed.
Geoffrey, who assisted us during our stay, was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay even more special.
The hotel itself is in a great location, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The staff were all welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Royal Hotel Zanzibar to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Zanzibar.

Located a stone's throw from the prestigious Kendwa Rocks & Gold Zanzibar hotels and the beach waterline SunSeaBar Beach Resort is a hidden value gem. Ample room space for a couple, hot water, cold aircon. I recommend the "USA" room with unobstructed view of the sunset over the beach from the balcony. Bonus review: Gold Hotel (10 minute walk along the beach) nightly (starts at 1930) H.U.G.E. multi-culinary cuisine buffet (with entertainment) is a must dine at 45USD/person.
Great mid-size hotel at the end of Kendwa beach but close enough to be able to easily walk along to other areas/restaurants. The beach here is lovely to swim in nearly all the time as is safe from the extremes of tides that you see elsewhere. Lots of sunbeds as well.
The staff were brilliant and as it was our honeymoon we were upgraded to all inclusive and the staff also organised a meal on the beach for us which was very kind. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
We took the all inclusive deal. The place is beautiful and the staff are great. The food is a big buffet with seafood and on-the-spot cooked steaks, really high quality stuff. Yet we suffered from stomach issues. Though I’m not sure if it started there or just continued there. Ended up eating rice for the remainder of the stay.
The massage was good
The location is great and the beach / pool area is beautiful. We spent almost every evening in the lounge area watching the sunsets, overlooking the beach. Staff were very friendly and the food was really good. Nassor was amazing and helped organise all our trips and travel. Kendwa is definitely more of a resort hotel area in comparison to Nungwi.
We had a brilliant stay at Sansi Kendwa Beach resort. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and Joseph the manager was exceptional. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. The food was fresh and of very good quality. The hotel has a stunning beach with plenty of sun loungers and beautiful clear water to swim in. A particular highlight was an amazing dinner on the beach at full moon, thank you to all the staff for arranging this.
we really enjoyed our time at Sansi Kendwa beach resort. The staff were so friendly and made an amazing family and fun atmosphere - it was impossible to not be in a good mood around them. Mohammed from the reception went the extra mile to make our stay as smooth and enjoyable at possible. We really enjoyed the food and activities. We would love to come back and definitely recommend it if you visit Zanzibar! Thank you for everything!
Kendwa beach resort was a big tick on location, ambience, cleanliness and facilities. Right on Kendwa beach, where the sunsets are gorgeous. Our room came with a great sea view, and was very clean and spacious. We had a lovely time here!
