A Balinese palatial hotel in the middle of wilderness. It is absolutely perfect and easily the best villa in Thailand I have stayed in. The resort and facilities are huge, they have an infinity pool and access to a nice beach behind the hotel which is great for walks and relaxing in the day and night.
The hotel either needs taxis or motorbike to get to and from as there is not much nearby and no 7-11s at all on the entire strip. Plenty of beaches too.
They have a lovely small breakfast a la carte menu and the on site restaurant has amazing food and cake.

This is a beautifully maintained property, with very comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. We requested an evening meal on our first night at short notice, and our host cooked us a great meal. On the second night we have another excellent meal, and would say this was one of the best meals we have had. The location was perfect for us as it was very quiet. I highly recommend this lovely resort and want to express our thanks for a memorable stay.

A Stay Full of Warmth – Perfect for Relaxation!
Our stay at the Cordelia Resort was simply wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Roi Yot. As others have mentioned, Chris is an absolute gem: he took care of everything, organized a trip for us, checked in on us regularly, and even personally drove us to Hua Hin in his BYD at the end of our stay. Hospitality like this is truly rare!
The resort doesn’t stand out for luxury but rather for its warmth, humanity, and the heartfelt care of the team. The breakfast buffet is delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean, with direct access to the pool. The beach is just a short walk away, and bikes are available to explore the peaceful surroundings. The location is quiet and ideal for unwinding, recharging, and finding a moment of calm.
The name Cordelia, which means “Daughter of the Sea” and in Latin also translates to “The Warmhearted,” couldn’t be more fitting. This place perfectly combines the essence of the sea with a welcoming, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. A perfect name for a perfect retreat. We’ll definitely be back!

Friendly staff welcomed us, processed our check-in, and escorted us to our room. Our room, near the sizeable resort pool, was a great size with a comfy bed and more than adequate bathroom. All room facilities worked as required, and the room was clean. The pool was excellent. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was sufficient, and we were provided with a reasonable selection of the buffet, though not inspiring.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The owner, Mam, was very friendly and helpful. I was travelling by minibus from Bangkok, and she picked me up by car from the nearest stop (Pran Buri). She also arranged a van to Bangkok for my return trip, which picked me up directly from the hotel and turned out to be quite cheap.
I had basically come to see the Phraya Nakhon cave, and Mam organised a motorbike that I could use to get there without needing to book a taxi.
I was initially skeptical about the rooms since they were modified shipping containers, but they turned out to be fantastic! They are extremely clean, have all basic amenities including multiple plugpoints right near the bed (something that was missing from many of the hotels I stayed in in Thailand). The windows are large, and the view from the room is amazing.
The walk to the beach is barely a minute, and there are a bunch of nice restaurants nearby. The beach was pretty empty when I went, except for local fishermen who go fishing in the morning.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, I would definitely return.

The hotel's privacy is excellent, as it is the only resort on that beach. It’s all yours to enjoy. It’s a very nice place to relax during our holidays. We even stayed an extra night. Loved it and would love to come back again. The staff are friendly, and the food is very good. We stayed in a pool access room, and all of us loved it.

Organised our tour of Monkey Island and Caves through the resort ended up being a cheaper option for our family! As did hotel transfers!
This resort was amazing. We went in the off season so we had the entire place to ourselves! The resort is absolutely darling. It’s not walking distance to anything so you will need to motorbike but the host was super helpful in teaching us how to do it, when we were super hesitant about it. I highly recommend learning to drive them because driving around feels like you’re in a movie. I would never stay anywhere else if I was ever in the area again!
We really enjoyed our short stay in Sam Roi Yot, beautiful place, relaxing and chilled. The Green Beach Resort made our first trip a memorable one and we will certainly come back. The assistant manager ( sorry but we didn’t catch his name) was friendly and extremely helpful, he spoke very good English and helped to organise our activities. The rooms were basic but clean, pool was large and deep and just what was needed.
