This who experience was just fabulous. It was a very peaceful and quiet environment with many specail little touches that made the stay almost like a fairytale. The whole place has fairy lughts everywhere at night and the bamboo swing on the pattio adds such a nice touch. We loved the swimming pool and their meals were freshly prepared and really deliciouOur hosts went out of their way to take us to the village and to a taxi when we needed to go back to Chaing Mai. The whole visit was superb.

Le Cocotier, hotel in Mae Taeng

Le Cocotier provides air-conditioned rooms in Ban Cho Lae, Mae Taeng. This resort features free WiFi and a garden. There is a restaurant.

I could not have had a better time staying at Le Cocotier. Where to start? The location is stunning (big garden amidst picturesque countrysides) and everything I've had in the restaurant was truly perfect. But the best of all has to be the staff! Mai and the rest of the team have been nothing short of amazing - he has a ton of knowledge about the region, and I had the opportunity to go for a pleasant mtb ride with him. I will come back here, no doubt! Thanks for everything!

Country Retreat, hotel in Mae Taeng

Situated in the sleepy farming village of Huai Sai in Mae Rim, Country Retreat offers bungalows and an outdoor pool.

Rustic and surrounded by rice fields. I loved to sit on the balcony and listen to the frogs croaking in the evening. Steve the owner was responsible for designing and building the complex. He had also crafted the beautiful bed in which we slept! The property was scrupulously clean and the air conditioning was effective.

Sukantara Cascade Resort and Spa, hotel in Mae Taeng

Sukantara Cascade Resort and Spa is located 1 km from Tard Mok Waterfall. It offers air-conditioned cottages with balcony and free Wi-Fi. The resort features a spa, pool and tour desk.

To be honest, my family and I were initially very hesitant about staying in this hotel after reading reports about terrible floods in the area. However, the hotel managed to blow our expectations out of the water. Even after the floods, the hotel is very beautiful and tranquil. You can definitely notice the commendable efforts by hotel staff in fixing the flood damage. Very impressive work in such a short amount of time. We are also very impressed with their excellent service. Not only have they accommodated our request to serve us an earlier breakfast (due to an early plane flight), they had very kindly arranged for a couriered service after we accidentally left an item in our hotel room. 10/10 service.

Staff were amazing - nothing too much trouble. The resort itself is beautiful and the rooms are lovely. The location is quiet and peaceful. We recommend doing the Thai Cooking class nearby - Maetang Lanna Thai Cookery School.

The room was spacious and located among nature. Also, it's very close to Pang Chang Mae Taeng, you can take the resort's shuttle car to the garden inside the resort near a canal to see the elephant in the morning which provided us a great experience during our stay.

We like the location of the resort. The tranquillity and the peace. Mostly because we got to eat locally most nights because there's not any restaurants around.

The surroundings and nature were absolutely exquisite, and gave you the opportunity to unwind, by riding the bikes, or walking along the creek. JoJo In reception was absolutely amazing, and helped organise transport, he is a real asset to the resort.

Nested in a wonderful garden. Convenient location to visit the area on daily tours. It is an oldish resort which may need some renovation. Bar and restaurant were closed at the time of our stay. The few people from the staff were extremely kind and helpful.

The location of the resort, the whole place is very nice and so is the layout with the big pool being centrally located. The room was spacious (I woudln't call it a villa, though). It felt as if we were the only people there. Quick room service.
