Thanya Beach Resort - SHA Plus, hotel in Ko Ngai

Located along the peaceful beach of Koh Ngai, Thanya Beach Resort offers stylish wooden bungalows feature mountain view from a private balcony.

The service was exceptional—both at the reception and in the restaurant. The location was the best on the entire island. The facilities were a bit worn out but overall comfortable and clean. It has a bit of a cute ’90s vibe—people over 40 with families, no loud music, and no influencers. Just perfect. The restaurant food was quite good, even better than what we had at a 5-star resort. I do wish there were more non-alcoholic iced drinks available. The massage was a big surprise—I’ve been to many masseurs before, but this place has an amazing lady named Pin, who has a medical background and managed to fix my long-term shoulder problem. Very happy with the quiet atmosphere and the no-smoking policy in the facilities and restaurant. Beach and views were amazing.

Located on the beach, Coco Cottage is just a 2-minute stroll to Koh Ngai Beach. It takes 40 minutes by boat to Emerald Cave. Lanta Island is a 1-hour speed boat ride and 1.30-hour ferry ride away.

Beautiful property…….nicest one along the main beach. The staff are excellent and the rooms are gorgeous. Added bonus of a beautiful pool too. So many little details have been thought about and the hotel decor is stunning. Great restaurant and a very nice breakfast. Sarongs given to you for the length of your stay, beach bags and umbrellas too. Water refill scheme and mosquito spraying for your room is offered. Everything here has been done ‘just right’.

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach, hotel in Ko Ngai

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and restaurant in Ko Ngai.

I am a hotelier who owns 30 rooms and must say Ive been to many islands but this one is the best if you want to be quiet and just relax. Nature nature nature. Clean rooms, gr8 breakfast and fabulous staff. Every bungalow has what you need but dont expect something fancy this is a place where you come and walk barefoot all day long. FOOD OMG THE RESTAURANT’S curry is fabulous!!! Good clean swimming pool. True paradise. As close as it can get to my favorite Maldives

Mayalay Resort-Green Hotel, hotel in Ko Ngai

Situated on Koh Ngai Beach, Mayalay Resort-Green Hotel offers traditional-inspired bungalows with air-conditioning. Guests enjoy free welcome drink and free Wi-Fi in the lobby and the restaurant.

We enjoyed staying in the Mayalay resort. Personally, I liked the most houses that were plain and had this "paradise island" vibe. Resort is nicely located. The area was clean as well as the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really regret we spent only 2 nights in the resort.

Comfortable room, reasonably soft bed compared to rock solid standard. Beautiful location, good food and friendly staff. Very happy with our stay here. Would book again, in fact we wanted to go back to it as soon as we got to the next destination.

Koh Ngai Resort, hotel in Ko Ngai

Koh Ngai Resort is located within the Trang Archipelago and overlooks the beautiful Andaman Sea. This peaceful tropical getaway presents an outdoor pool and scenic views of the natural landscapes.

We had a bungalow overlooking the beach - really convenient, and scenic. Food was good - we always had Thai dishes. Although there is only a relatively small beach for the resort, it never felt too busy. Lots of young families there. Good reef for snorkelling, right in front of beach. Lots of choice of trips - though we didn’t take any as only stayed 3 days.

Well you are right on an amazing beach, no roads on the island, no people haggling for money. Just beach and resort. Perfect to unwind. 3 kids just swam and snorkled all day (watch that sunburn). I'd call it more Glamping than a resort

Location has pros and cons. It’s good because you feel isolated and detached from the world. And not really good because you don’t have options on food. The resort, beach, room were really great. No complaints at all. Very quiet. Coral reef is gorgeous! Thanks for free snorkeling set and kayak.

This was our third stay at Koh Ngai Seafood. You just can't beat the serene, peaceful location and the huts' proximity to the beach. They may be basic (cold water, hard bed, limited electricity/wifi), but their charm is what we pay for you and keep returning for. The resort seems to be family-run, with the same people each year. That makes it very special.

You’re here for the deserted tropical island vibe and that is 200% what you get. Best view of my life every single day, clearest water ever! This resort is on the very best location on the whole island. It’s also the cheapest resort on the island and has very decent food.

a well kept, but outdated resort directly by the beach and the pier. So very handy when you arrive. the food is good and everything is working. Breakfast is good - buffett. Staff are friendly. Snorkeling in front of the hotel was really nice at low tide early evening by the reef. a lot of colourful fish. You can also borrow a kajak for free for three hours from the resort which is nice.

Beautiful location, lovely room overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Should out to M who was amazing!! Ans the lady running the restaurant, she was awesome too. Nice extras, like massage on site, Kayaks free to use. Resort didn't feel too big or busy, which helped give a nice relaxed feel.

What a peaceful and calm island Ko Ngai is! And the Thanya Beach Resort is the best place to be on the island. Nice spacious plot, with a large pool that is perfect also for kids. But above all, it is situated at the best part of the beach. The resorts on the other side of the beach have no beach at high tide - where Thanya still has a nice strip of sand.
