We loved the quiet vibe tucked half way along the bay. It has a small restaurant with linen table cloths, orchids and well presented food. Delicious!
There is a small bar for drinks. Guests have priority for reservations. The large tamarisk tree marks it spot under which there are ample deck chairs for sun seekers. Comfortable Wooden reclining loungers give perfect views of the beach a few metres away at high tide. They have umbrellas for shade. The pool nestles between rooms and is ample for a cool dip. The bay has one tide a day; in January the high tide lasted until noon for swimming before it receded leaving a wide, shallow bay great for walking or children to safely play in. Staff are welcoming. This place will appeal to those seeking solace away from loud music and corporate hotels. The rooms have typical Thai roofs with vaulted ceilings. They are small but perfectly sized and the shower water was consistently hot. A drying rack outside was useful. We loved the mosquito guard which allowed ample fresh air to circulate in the bathroom alongside the main air conditioner. The rooms were cleaned daily and staff ensured the communal areas were cleaned too. Breakfast provided set menu options; all included a fruit plate and tea or coffee. We ate omelettes, yoghurt and muesli and pancake options. You can purchase extra items to the set menus.The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The rooms are part of a larger Blue Haven resort area so security is high with guards. There is a small local village a short walk away for provisions or local restaurants as well as the 3 on the bay and one inland within the resort area. We ate at all venues and would revisit all of them.
We would recommend this place and stay again.
We thought it was good value for money. We didn't use the spa for massage since l'd already booked up the bay but prices were competitive. Beds were firm but comfortable for us; 1 pillow was provided.

Positioned in the beginning of the less touristic side of the island, the situation is extremely relaxed and intimate. we had a bungalow i front of the sea and it was beautiful. Both the sea and swimmingpool are clean and nice to have a swim there. Rooms are tidy, the staff super helpful with booking activities for you, calling a taxi, and suggesting places to see and to eat. Much reccommended if you want to relax!

The Chill was one of the best hotels I have stayed at due to the kind, friendly staff that made the stay with my young family so enjoyable. No requests too big or small, they do their best to help. Very nice stay. Family resort, everything is around the pool. Our 7 year old just wanted to swim and play on the slides all day! Nice food at S Bar on the beachfront and poolside food was also very nice. The cottage was a good size for a small family (2+1).

Location is good, it’s towards the end of Kiabea Beach Resort, which is not as hectic or built up as White Sands. Everything in Resort is pretty compact & there’s plenty of choice. The Rooms, the Breakfast, the Staff & the Pool are all excellent.
Lovely resort, nice staff and management and good breakfast every day. The rooms are clean and and the beds are lovely. We revisited Garden Resort for some more nights, even though it was not in our plan. We really recommend this resort after visiting several resorts at Koh Chang.
Lovely place to stay, bungalows were great size, very clean, comfortable large beds, staff were very attentive and happy, the owner Mause was very friendly and a good laugh, played the guitar exceptionally well, very informative of the area and keeps his residence (garden resort) beautiful. Lovely salt water pool, which is cleaned daily, plenty of sunbeds, situated centrally, we will definately return!

Excellent beach resort, great having access to slides for kids to unwind in the afternoon after a morning of exploration. The beach bar was lovely and food good. The staff put on a fire show in the evening which you couldn’t get tired of watching. we had a family suit with private pool, which was excellent value for money. The beach was clean and peaceful.
