Omg watch out for the way there — there’s only a very rough dangerous path to go down and with a scooter is impossible! They have their own taxis. I went down walking for about 30 min, and on the way up a taxi picked me up for free (although I think it was just my luck, usually people pay money). Otherwise the bungalow was lovely, I had a terrace with an open view of the beach and surrounded by trees and had a calm time reading in the hammock and enjoying the silence!

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. The host was considerate because renovations were going on in the property and allowed us one night to decide if we want to stay.
We received a bungalow with the best view possible, and were welcomed with a bit of treats.
The rooms are big, everything in the room is simple and feels vintage. But everything was also very comfortable, and we did not experience any worth to remember inconveniences. They made it look easy, but after visiting a few hotels in Thailand I know this is not something to take for granted.
The hotel has only a few meters of beach and upon first sight it did not look impressive and even a bit uninviting, but after trying it out and after visiting the near Haad son beach we realized that the hotel’s beach is perfect. Unlike the beaches around, for some reason their beach didn’t have waves. It had clear, calm waters with no sticky sand. Even my husband who doesn’t like to spend time on beaches was thrilled.
The breakfast was the best in all the hotels we were in Thailand. They had a choice from a menu and they served a rich and diverse dish (unlike, let’s say, 2 eggs with one sausage). And it was served until 5 pm, so no time pressure.
We had a “do not disturb” sign on, but they still left every day a bag with toilet paper and water bottles besides the door. So considerate! Clearly understanding the guest’s needs.
The cats were great, we even had 2 cat visitors in our bungalow. Good customer service from the cats lol
If we’ll ever be in Koh Phangan again we’ll definitely return. Actually, we want to return just to stay in this hotel again.

The Hin Kong beach, the view, the sunsets, the people working at Alcove restaurant (Oung, Karin and all the others), the lady that cleaned the room each day with a smile, fast internet, cold fridge, Aircon and blowers. The whole stay was just perfect, don't expect a five star experience, you don't pay for one. Location on the island was perfect too. And the beautiful lady singing jazzy love songs... WOW

I loved the location. My favorite place in the island. Very chill and relaxing. The road from the parking lot to the resort wasn't good for the scooter but taxi was only 100 baht and I walked from the parking lot to the Resort many times. It was only 1.7km. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Loved the view from the balcony. I'll definitely come back!
The resort is fantastic. The bungalow was fully equipped, cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable and has mosquito net. The resort leads to Bottle Beach, which is gorgeous, and it has a restaurant, so you don’t need to leave it at all if you don’t feel like it.
The taxi drivers are super nice and friendly and try to communicate with you as best as they can.
We booked the ocean front villa and it was absolutely stunning.
It’s a simple beach hut so you have to accept it for what it is (bugs and all) but it was a stunning stay.
Opening the curtains and windows to be right on the beach was utter paradise.
The front deck and hammock were a luxury to have.
The restaurant and pool were also really great… food was yum and staff were friendly. Swimming pool was a nice treat too.
Would 100000% recommend and will likely go back.
Location......makes you feel remote as only accessible by long tail boat from Chaloklum or by 4x4 atranged by the resort.

The beach and sea are the stuff of dreams.
I should’ve read the previous reviews before booking. You can’t access it on your own scooter - you’ll need a taxi (which obviously adds up to price). Upon noticing this tried to cancel and get refund (in advance) but, both resort and booking.com, were not helpful nor understanding. A shame as the place does look nice.
