They allowed us to check in three hours early with no charge. But, the best thing about this hotel was not the hotel. It was a restaurant about 750 meters down the road on the opposite side of the street. We had possibly the best dinner we had in all of Thailand at the restaurant - and it was very affordable. Steamed fish. Tamarind shrimp. And more.

This was one of our most expensive resorts on our bike trip, but the facilities around the pool and garden were very rundown. We expected more for the price. The room was clean and well kept, but walking around the pool deck, and on other areas felt very unsafe because there were so many rotten Areas of wood that needed to be replaced. They also had a nice buffet, but when we asked for an omelette at the egg cooking area, they said there were none, even though we could see all of the eggs and omelette, making materials right there. I guess the cook forgot to show up. Overall, this Resort needs a facelift and some staff that really take pride in working there. Really great pizza right next-door though!
