I stayed for two nights before getting the ferry to Koh Samet to see what Ban Phe was like and was glad I did. They have recently built a swimming pool, which was a huge bonus! It is beautiful, as is the rest of the property.

Good bed, water was hot and pressure good. The room was a two-level room, it was a pleasant surprise. The view of the sea right next door was spectacular and the sound of the waves was restful to hear. From here it was also easy to go to Koh Samet for a day tour.

Splendid staff and a very clean and modern room. Most of the staff spoke fluent French, English and Thai.
Driving my own car permitted me to easily visit the nearby town. Motorbikes for rent at the facility though. Lovely well maintained swimming pool.
It is a relatively small family owned resort and the atmosphere is accordingly with a very motivated staff.
The piers for the ferry to Koh Samet are conveniently close by.
The spacious layout of the resort is very well conceived, with a nice swimming pool area and nice restaurants. The sea views of the resort and the surrounding forest makes the location attractive.
My wife and I enjoy the Resort with peaceful bungalow near the pool and enjoy the company at the outside bar next to a beautiful open restaurant and playing pool.
The Owner and staff are very welcoming and the evening meal is excellent.
