The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, hotel in Ko Naka

The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket is located on an exotic island of the Andaman Sea.

We had a 4-night stay on this magical island for our honeymoon. Everything was top-notch (and beyond). However, be prepared that everything is a bit pricey (or maybe it’s time for me to get another job 😁). After this, we went to another 5-star luxury hotel in Phuket, and all I heard from my wife during the remaining days was, "Only Naka island next time" 😁 We stayed in a sea-view villa, which was very quiet and isolated—exactly what we wanted. The room cleaning service is provided twice a day (they even prepare your room for a night’s sleep). The breakfast was perfect, offering everything from custom-made juices (just for you) and noodles to pancakes and waffles.

Khumkatang Resort & Restaurant, hotel in Ban Bang Rong

Located in Ban Bang Rong, 6.4 miles from Two Heroines Monument, Khumkatang Resort & Restaurant has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant.

We loved the location on the quieter side of Phuket Island and conveniently located near the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center and Bang Pae Waterfall, which are at the same location. You can drive the back way, turning right onto the road outside of the convenient parking area and take the back road to Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is also only 7 minutes drive and offers ethical activities with a group of really well cared for Elephants. EJS also has unique cooking classes. There is also an Air Park close by, where you can rent a small plane to get an aerial view of Phuket. The owners Khun Toot and Khun Fern are the most kind and hospitable people and have created a truly heavenly place in Phuket. Their restaurant at the resort is DELICIOUS! Very affordable and super convenient. The new spotless bungalows are well designed and have a modern bathroom with plush towels, a refrigerator, super comfy bed, excellent air conditioning unit, plenty of space for your clothes, a fantastic TV, great WIFI and the sliding doors are nice and quiet. The Boutique quality of this property allows for guests to intermingle if they so desire and there are chairs provided outside to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. There is a 7-11 within 5 minutes walking distance and a small morning market. The surroundings are quaint and reminiscent of Phuket 30 years ago. Ao Por Pier is close by for excursions into Phang Nga Bay. I highly recommend booking John Gray's Sea Canoe trip. You can also rent bicycles and safely explore Thalang area. Another huge bonus of staying in this area of Phuket is avoiding the gridlock traffic that worsens as you go toward the south of Phuket Island.

The Slate, Phuket, hotel in Nai Yang Beach

The Slate, Phuket presents industrial chic design set against the beautiful natural backdrop of Nai Yang Beach and Andaman Sea.

Everything you can think of they provided. They will always exceeded your expectations. There’s a morning Buffet that changes every day and it has everything from Asian, North and South American dishes. There are four different restaurants on site. There’s a daycare that is included in the cost for your children. Every SINGLE day every 2hrs there’s something for them to do and it’s FREE . I’ve attended 4 throughout my 2week stay. We created a candle, bracelets for our children, tote bags, pom-poms and more, which provided several souvenirs for Family at no cost to me just time. There is a tennis court, gym, kids pool 3 adult pools, 2 infinity pools, 1 pool swim bar. There’s transport throughout the entire compound, to and from every event you can think of as well as to and from the airport and to your front door . When leaving out the compound, the sand 2 the beach is less than 600 feet away. The ocean is less than 2000 feet. There’s street food, cabanas and convenience stores. Everything you can ask for around the compound. The Slate offers, bikes and scooters. They will book events for you and a way to get there. There’s a store that sells everything you have in your bedroom from the actual bed, sheets, towels, soaps and fragrances, too the appliances holding up the sink. I am not exaggerating whatsoever. I’ve made a TikTok Instagram and Facebook post about how exceptional the slate hotel is. I will forever stay on this compound, regardless of where I am visiting throughout Thailand. I never travel with my children because they are young adults. However, this compound makes you want to bring all ages of children and family because there’s something for everyone to do in plenty of space to do it. They have currency exchanges on site as well as prayer sections for those who are religious. There an app to contact every aspect of the compound. You never have to speak to actual person.

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken! The hotel/island are simply beautiful. The staff are amazing. We can't say enough about our time here, and we are looking forward to returning. It says a lot about this property that even considering the issues with food and beverage (below), we still rate it a perfect 10. Absolutely everything else about this resort surpasses expectations and makes the stay completely worth it!

Naka is simply stunning. Anywhere you look you are surrounded by beauty. The staff was very caring and the food delicious. Yes, the resort is a bit old, the main pool could use some love&care, but honestly it didn't bother us. The overall feeling of being pampered made us want to return here next year. There isn't a kids club, but there are a lot of activities for kids so the entire family had am amazing time. For sure it was an amazing start to out Thailand holiday.

The villa was amazing, we had a great view of the ocean even though it was partial. The staff took amazing care from the first step we took on the island to the last day we left. Personal care by all the staff really lived up to the word luxury! The breakfast spread was awesome, and the Thai food we had at the restaurant was also amazing. Everything was as just great

Nice and helpful staff, good food, nice environment and facilities. We have also enjoyed a lot the proposed tour on Phi Phi Islands. P.S. despite the initial miscommunication on booking.com regarding the room type, staff handled this case professionally on site and made our stay memorable on your resort.

Amazing villas, great infinity pool and awesome food Villas are very private, have a great outdoor area and the pool is pretty big compared to similiar type of villas in other resorts. Breakfast is superb and with threee restaurants, ther is always enough choices. Our fav was Rum Chapel where the staff was also great. We traveled with our 4year old and the stuff through all the resort were great with him providing always extra care and entretainment. The overall resort grounds are very well maintained and thr gardens are beatiful.
