Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
I don’t expect luxury in a hostel, but definitely in the shower downstairs needs a good cleaning. Anyway I know not everyone cleaning standards are the same, but I wish it was just a bit more clean, that’s it.

I booked a bed in a four bed dormitory. It must have been empty because I was upgraded to a twin room with ensuite, and I was the only occupant. Delicious Mediterranean breakfast. Great location. Communal kitchen a bit of a shambles, but if you want luxury go to the hilton. Highly recommended.
The mattress was divine! The pillow was also perfect for the neck. For someone with back pain, I had a very good sleep!
The location also wins most of its points for the parking facility, which in Cluj is a luxury. Easy getting in and getting out and at a fair distance, by foot, from office locations downtown or training facilities. The host was very nice and accommodating, and I appreciated it after my last booking experience (we talked on the phone). I gave 10 points for the hosts' hospitality.
Sungarden Golf & Spa Resort was the last evening of our trip to Romania. We'd hoped to use all the wonderful spa facilities but we were very tired and ended up not leaving the room.
We ordered room service and the food was delicious, it was some of the best food we'd had during our 17-night trip to Romania.
The resort is not far from the city, but it is remote and surrounded by nature.
It is the only spa resort in the Cluj area worth spending a dime for.
The room design is classic, but that can induce that disconnecting or romantic mood.
