The breakfast was fantastic, so many options! We loved the views from the rooms and pool. The ability to walk from the resort to the hiking trails along the cliffs was amazing. Very reasonable prices!
Northern side of the isle, away from the touristy south side with Ponta Delgada.
Very good base for exploring the whole island. 15-20 min drive to Ponta Delgada ( 40 min to anywhere on the island).
The hotel is nice, and a good alternative to busy resorts on south side.
Breakfast is diverse enough for 7-8 days but it might get boring if you stay longer.
Big parking lot, no issues with finding a place.
Beach towels which you can “refresh” at any time.
Best part of being at this resort is the walking trails going east and west along the rocky shoreline. The views are unreal.
Rooms are modern and clean, reminds me of a cruise ship room for some reason. A lot of breakfast options.
If you are driving maybe a good stop for a night or so but there’s probably more interesting places to stay on the island for the price.
Resort located on large property above the ocean with outdoor pools in front and walking trail beyond on cliff. Lovely views either side. Breakfast good with outdoor seating also if not raining or too cold. Easy travel to west side of island with your own car. This is a beautiful island no matter where you stay. This resort featured a spa and indoor pool
