Loved the pool, especially with young children. The rooms had high ceilings, were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Customer service was exceptional. Everyone was super helpful and friendly.

It’s a beautiful location right on the water with a dive boat offshore where there are beautiful underwater sights. The staff’s attention to detail is exceptional.

Our room was great! We would have almost slept with our heads on the beach with the terrace open if the rain/wind hadn't disturbed us every morning.
Thanks for the hospitality! The owners helped us a lot with our onward journey. Even when we came back because we had an emergency, everyone was very helpful.
Snorkeling was great - unfortunately only at high tide. Low tide is a bit annoying, but you sit on the beach and eat/drink your way through the menu :-)
We can recommend a trip to the lake and waterfall. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any other beaches worth mentioning nearby. Probably a day trip to Apo Island would be OK - not too far from Kookoos Nest.
Our offseason conclusion: Rooms/huts perfect, food perfect, beach/snorkeling perfect (if weather/water is right), people/stuff friendly!

Everything is just right at this place: The view, the pool, the room, the beach, the whole resort and including the price, all just right. An "especially" goes to the food, everything we ordered was delicious! Most of all: the staff, very friendly and super accommodating! Our kids loved the place. We all had a great time!

I always book Kavs whenever I am in Dumaguete! Near Apo Island port 10mins tricycle away. And when in the resort very chill vibe esp they renovated it! You can watch sunset with the beach chairs and pool is nice and relaxing too. Staffs are all accomodating.
We booked 2 rooms, the superior and the family room, but there werent other guests except our group so we had the whole resort to ourselves and got some privacy we appreciate. We had some beers by the shoreline under the moonlight, it was perfect. The weather cooperated, the kids of my friends had a great time swimming and they allow dogs, so we were able to bring our dogs, and they too had a great time!
The resort is well set out and maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool area over looking the beach was glorious. Food was excellent, good menu choices, well cooked with fresh ingredients.
The resort it’s nice, clean rooms, nice staff and great food. I apreciate that, because i’m a vegetarian, the chef accepted to change a little the menu for me. I also like that they have international food.
