Think the best location to stay in Santa Catalina. The houses next to beach are nice with airconditioning. Be aware you can’t reach this location by Car. There is a small river in between. When you arrive and when it is high tide, the first thought is: go back an book something else. But don’t! The location is very nice, and afterwards when you have crossed the river swimming or by a small boat, you have to laugh about it 😂. At the resort there is a nice restaurant where you can eat very well for a good price!

Lovely little resort with a stunning view and simple yet comfortable cottages. You can rent surfboards and take lessons. The common area is spacious and welcoming. The whole infrastructure is quite run down but they plan to renovate it totally. I just hope they manage to keep the character and the charme.

The small resort is very relaxed. The staff is very friendly (Mostly spoken spanish and no English but ok..) and the food is great! We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the garden and pool area over the sea and the sunset is awesome. The village of Santa Catalina is a 10 min walk away, but if you want to eat somewhere else, just at the entrance of Vista Coiba there is a cool pizza place.

before our stay at Vista we read a lot of good reviews and also a few bad ones. I think when you do not expect a 5 star luxury resort, your stay at vista will be very nice, the views are great, the food is delicious and above all, they have the most friendly staff. very helpful and nice people.we had a great stay in Santa Catalina

We felt very comfortable, the price is very fair (and cheap). It was super clean and the rooms get cleaned every day. The staff was so friendly. And there is good Wifi (booking says, there is no wifi)! Don't expect too much luxury for this cheap price but it was clean, what matters the most for us.
