Property is really nicely placed in a kampong area. Quiet and away from commercial places. The villa was spacious for two, clean and has most ammenities.
Everything! From the comfortable villa, amazing food and most of all the impeccable service and attentiveness of the staff right from the booking process and throughout the stay. They caught and cooked mudcrabs for my parents and helped arranged a lovely sunset cruise too. A big shoutout and gratitude to Ms. Yee from Reservations, Mr Raid and Mr Hairee at the villa for their outstanding service to make my mother’s 78th birthday trip so memorable! Highly recommended stay.
this is by any standards one of the most beautiful and fantastic beach hotel/resort in the world. the setting is absolutely amazing, the service very professional and at the same time most friendly.
This was our second stay at The Datai after a 15 year interval. Amazingly, although not cheap, the cost was lower than it was 15 years ago, mostly due to post COVID recovery I suspect. It is absolutely a brilliant 5 star resort, well deserving of its great reputation. Great dining options at a great and beautiful beach resort.
