Kunang Kunang Heritage Villas feel like an incredibly special experience capturing a moment in time - each villa is unique and has been collected by the owners and relocated into this magical location. The main reception building is a 300 year old traditional Langkawi timber house. The details are beautiful and all the furniture throughout is an eclectic mix and add to the sensation of going back in time. Each villa is very spacious and have great bathrooms, some with an outdoor lounger which is nice for a bit of private sunbathing!
The staff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly, helpful in every way and if you just wanted to kick back and relax its the perfect place to do so. Despite being next to the airport it is incredibly tranquil and you don't notice the planes.
We went as a family with our 2 year old son and my 80 year old mother. The only thing to point out is that a lot of the villas are up steep steps so be mindful of that. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and great for kids to run around.
There is also the Teratak Spa and the traditional massages are brilliant - so good we all booked twice!
The food is all consistent and good but nothing to shout about. We went into town most nights for dinner and just had snacks and juices in the day at the Villa by the pool.
Altogether a gorgeous stay and will be returning for a couple of nights at the end of our trip before we fly home.

The noise isolation of the hotel is really bad. We got disturb every day during our stay from the noise of people talking loudly passing by.

Very peaceful and quiet resort with a 50m adults only swimming pool on one end of the hotel.

Location was great. It was located right on a white sandy beach and was not very crowded. Our suite was big and spacious with a comfortable couch and balcony furniture. The staff is very sweet, helpful and responsive. Water sports activities are available right beside the resort and mangrove tours start adjacent to the resort so you can potentially save a lot of time if you are interested in these activities. However, the tradeoff is that the resort is slightly away from the City Centre (but we wanted it that way so worked perfectly for us)
Literally every single thing about this Resort was amazing. Prices, service, food, location, and everything else. I cannot think of a better Resort to go to.

The resort was quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent and made our stay exceptional. The food was delicious and the private beach added icing to the cake.

Good private beach, not many people there, scenic views and clear water. Nice territory to walk around the resort with some animals which we didn't encounter before (water monitor). Kind and helpful staff, food and drinks are really top quality - I think they have good value for their price. Room was also very comfortable and there was nearly everything needed. There are many small details which made our stay here really comfortable.
Beautiful idyllic white sandy beach resort with great options for breakfast . Location is 30 minutes away from the touristic places. Best to hire a car to get around the island.
