Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
Great location close to the sanctuaries. The environment in the resort is amazing, you can have a walk around and feel like in the jungle and take a rest around the pool. You can go bird watching or join a night walk, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice too. I totally recommend it.
6-pax dorm with separate shower room. There were 4 shower rooms. Hair dryer is available. Room is air conditioned. Mattress is firm. Walking distance to RDC. Restaurant in the resort is ok. Breakfast is included and is rather good.
-restaurant with Western options and for kids
-location 10 min walk from Conservation center
-grounds have lush jungle vegetation, even saw some urang utangs in the forest next to the swimming pool
-resort feel with all costs added to the room, even drinks at the pool
Pool was nice, location to walk to rehab centers good. Staff helpful. Good WiFi. Relaxing.
They are clearly doing up the resort - painting etc so will probably improve.
Need to consider the environment - remove plastic straws and have a refillable water bottle
The pool was nice and there was also a small kids pool with a short water slide that our little ones enjoyed. The location was also amazing. The place is nestled into the jungle and we were able to observe monkeys, birds and snakes (from a safe distance) on the grounds of the resort. The ponds in the resorts had some impressive fish and the kids loved looking out for wildlife. It is also very close to the Orang Tan sanctuary and the Rainforest Discovery Centre.
The food at the restaurant was great and the resort is in a great location with nature views from the balcony. It is also very close to major attractions in the area, such as the Orang Tan sanctuary or the Rainforest Discovery Centre.
Location in the heart of nature. So much to see without leaving the resort. Wildlife all around. Close to the orangutan and sun Bear rehabilitation centres. Staff always on hand to help and assist with anything. Good food and all for a very reasonable price.
The resort is surrounded by nature and is equipped with a pond and swimming pool which creates a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It was in close proximity to the sunbear and orangutan recovery Center and offers night walking tours!
Best place I have ever stayed. This was the most amazing experience. The rooms had a balcony and you could see the whole jungle, watch the animals and the sounds were beautiful. It was like a luxury jungle experience. The common area was also lovely! Met lots of other travellers and the food was exceptional. The staff were also so friendly! The shuttle is great, goes to sepilok and picks you up. This was by far better than any of the other resorts by the centres. I will deffo go back.
