The resort is very close to village center and to jetty to reach Taman Negara National park. It is a very quiet area. Breakfast and other services are pretty good.

The location was perfect. Near the river that separates the National Park from the village. Little shops and the floating restaurants only a few minutes walk. The rooms were very basic, but clean and the beds were ok. We preferred staying in the village. In the resort at the other side of the river you are with tourists only.

Position and atmosphere, right into the jungle. Simple Breakfast and Dinner Buffet, more quantity, less quality. Flowers, monkeys and nature all around. In any case, the best resort in this place.

Nothing. Please rename your accomodation. You can’t call this a resort.

Location: bungalow in the jungle. Nice plants, trees on the resort´s area. And monkeys. Friendly and helpfull staff: planning activities, in the restaurant, helping in the bungalow, moving luggage around, ... We had a very early check-in and the wonderfull staff could arrange a bungalow for us.

There is hardly any better place to stay at Taman Negara. We even had a view (from the walkway in front of the room) on the river and the NP behind. All facilities are close by. I don't want to put it in the "negative" category, but please do not expect luxury, comfort etc. The room was clean, the bed OK, and we had some power issues during the course of our stay. And it was exactly what we expected. We have talked to other visitors staying in other places and we seemed to be very lucky about everything.

The size of the bedroom & bathroom were good. These rooms were clean. Hot water, bath towels, toilet rolls & a prayer mat were provided. The resort was close to the jetty & river. There was free coffee, tea & sugar with a functioning cold water dispenser.

What an amazing location. It seems daunting on the map but it is very simple once you get to Kuala Tahan. You need cash for things outside the Mutiara Resort to make life easy with the boats. The resort itself is spectacular and brilliant value for money for where it is. You don’t need a guide for the close walks but if you are nervous then it might be easier to do that. We booked the boat to Lata Berkoh and it was wonderful.

The food was superb. Local food specific for that region in Malaysia, its a specialty. The activities offered were superb too. We enjoyed our short trip to Taman Negara. We chose this resort because of the all-inclusive concept, all meals and they offer activities too. The location in the middle of the forest was a special experience. We were transported in an open back 4x4 to the resort. It is not for the faint hearted though.
