Our stay at the hotel had its highlights, particularly the food, which was generally delicious. The kids’ club was an absolute standout feature, and a big part of that was thanks to the wonderful woman who runs it. She is incredibly kind, seems to have been working there for years, and does an outstanding job. Her dedication and warmth made the kids’ club a truly special experience and a safe, fun environment for children. For me, the kids’ club deserves a perfect 10. The reserved sunbed policy was also appreciated, as it eliminated the hassle of early-morning bed claiming and ensured access to prime spots. Additionally, the hotel layout is very family-friendly, making it easy to keep an eye on children from key locations.

Our first all-inclusive stay and it didn't disappoint! But please keep in mind with our review. Loved the beach front location with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks, easy access to bars and food throughout the day. They also have ala carte dining options which they kindly booked us into for our first night which was a gorgeous setting but admittedly the food was OK. With a torrential rainy day as part of our stay, they also arranged great rainy day activities including bracelet making and tequila & mezcal tasting which were a highlight! Thanks for the stay

The hotel is showing wear and tear but it didn't bother us at all. It was clean, the room was huge with a lovely balcony and chairs. There are two beautiful swimming pools, dip pools, the beach is small but the water is amazing! The food can definitely be improved. It was ok, but just ok.. vegetarian options can certainly be improved too.
All in all, it was still a good deal for the money paid.

Lovely view, great weather, some restaurants had great food. Come 11 pm, things got quiet so you could sleep well. The bed was very comfy - we stayed in a preferred junior suite.

Loved the infinity pools with swim up bars, the private beach/snorkeling. The staff was amazing, friendly and so accommodating, able to book scooters, snorkeling, diving. We were able to walk to a few places outside the resort, ATM, Pharmacia, restaurants and felt very safe. The all inclusive restaurants were great, lots of options for food. The bed was so comfortable!
Kippal is a great property in the heart of Cozumel. If you want something other than an all-inclusive resort, Kippal is a great choice. High end property, staff are attentive and friendly, building is well appointed, roof top pool is awesome, and the apartment is spacious and the balcony is great. You can walk to anything and everything in town. And Mingo’s Place is right next door.
Overall was ok, but I felt the price was overrated. You can find similar places 20-30% less that they charge. Wifi is stable everywhere. Pool bars work only until 6 pm while pool work until 8 pm, they could align it. Food is fine, nothing exceptional. I honestly cannot say anything so exceptional about this resort. Yes its all inclusive, yes they have beach. Did it became something to be so appreciative today for really decent price they charge??????
This resort has everything, great location, amazing food, friendly staff and snorkeling at their own beach. It is family friendly and has a really fun vibe without being the crazy party you find at some of the other all inclusive resorts. This place feels really authentic and offers a local feel.
The Melia Cozumel was an excellent all inclusive resort. It had everything my husband and I needed. The staff worked really hard to accommodate us a provide a memorable experience for us. We’ll be back next year for sure.
The pools are great, and the beach is really nice (although quite small). If you like snorkelling or diving, fully recommend coming here. There are lots of fish and even stingrays. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the sea. The room was clean and spacious. If you like quantity over quality, you will enjoy the all-inclusive experience. I will admit I was hesitant to book here, as I’ve never been an all-inclusive resort type traveler. But I was pleasantly surprised by our experience with Iberostar in Cozumel! It was comfortable, relaxing, and beautifully situated. The staff were kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time!
This is a great diver's resort. The all inclusive food was excellent. Right on the beach...and excellent facilities for washing and drying your dive gear. Walking distance to the town center and other amenities. Free parking. Clean and well maintained swimming pool. Great inexpensive laundry services!
Jorge the owner was very nice and accommodating. We had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, tv room, and dining room. It was very secure.
We have travelled internationally before and prefer to support local businesses. Though we have stayed in all-inclusive resorts before, that isn’t our preference. Jorge is s self-made entrepreneur, born and raised in northern Mexico, and worthy of support. We are glad to have supported a self-employed person rather than support a multinational corporation.
