The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah, hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll

Facing the beachfront, The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah offers 5-star accommodation in Gaafu Alifu Atoll and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre.

There is not much to dislike however I chose this particular place because I know it was on a large atoll which allowed bike rides across the atoll, walks and runs ect. The staff in the dhigura dining room, particularly Hafiz, Warul and Micah were outstanding. Hafiz actually organized some very spicy dishes for me when he found out that I loved Sri Lankan food

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll

Enjoy luxurious stays on an exclusive island at Park Hyatt Maldives, with 5-star villas located steps from powdery white sand.

Everything, last days there me and my wife were thinking about this place and we agreed that this hotel and its stuff - just amazing! We’ve spend the week and had NO negative experience at all. It’s our second time on Maldives, and we travel a lot around the world, and stayed in many hotels (from cheap to most expensive) - but rarely we can give someone 10 out of 10, but this one deserve it. The stuff is very friendly and entertaining, making your stay even better.

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Adults-Only Resort, hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo is an adult-only resort with 69 villas available in 6 different categories.

We can’t speak highly enough of this resort and its staff. Beautifully located with a large house reef teeming with life; you’re likely to see any and everything by just snorkelling the reef that’s at the bottom of the ladder, or beach from your villa. The villas are comfortable, spacious and well laid out, and all the resort facilities are nearby and easy to access. The food at the main restaurant is exceptional with a lot of variety at each meal. But, if you want a change, the Vista Italian restaurant adds another dimension. There are lots of arranged trips and activities if you want to join them, and everything we booked was a great adventure that brought us close to dolphins, turtles, rays, sharks and much more. All this said, the thing that makes this place so particularly special are the fantastic staff. Whether it’s the room valet with their beautiful towel and bed art. The pool bar staff with their talent and constant cheeriness. The restaurant guys with their welcome and unobtrusive attentiveness. The dive centre guys with their local knowledge and enthusiasm, the spa staff with their relaxing manner, and all the guys who keep the place running in the background. Everyone works hard, efficiently and always with a smile on their face. Thanks Kooddoo ❤️

The Residence Maldives, hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll

The Residence Maldives is located in the beautiful island of Falhumaafushi. It welcomes guests with luxuriously furnished guestrooms fitted with a private terrace and free internet access.

This island is one of the most beautiful places we've even been to. The marine life outside the villas is just stunning - make sure to explore the reef further on! Sharks, turtles and ray sightings were a daily occurence. We also got to see the dolphins up close several times which was such a treat! The staff was incredibly nice and attentive and the food was amazing everywhere we went. We loved the french Falhumaa restaurant the best. We went in July and were fortunate to only have one rainy day during our week-long stay. During the off-season, we felt like we had the resort to ourselves and would absolutely go again. Can't recommend enough!

ROBINSON MALDIVES - Adults only, hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll

Set in Gaafu Alif Atoll, ROBINSON MALDIVES features bungalows and villas with spa tubs, terraces and outdoor rain showers. Free snorkelling equipment is provided. Free WIFI is available.

The food was superb a lot of thought went into ensuring that different food was available throughout our time at the resort. I particularly liked the evening where staff from each country represented at the resort produced a meal from their country. The staff at the resort were very inclusive, it made you feel like one big family.

We travelled for our honeymoon. Luxury hotel on a private island. Our villa was the best room we have ever stayed in, with our own private pool. Food was always amazing, all inclusive but we didn't get bored and there were plenty of options. Staff were so friendly and helpful!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The resort and beaches were very clean. The food was exceptional at most restaurants. There were plenty of excursions for us to do. The spa/couples massage was absolutely amazing and in a very relaxing environment. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The complementary bath and in-room breakfast was marvelous.

Easily the most attentive staff from any resort I've stayed at. They really take time to get to know each guest personally and remember every preference. Hafiz and the team at the Dining Room deserve a special mention. We had a sunset pool water villa and the room was amazing and so well serviced. Housekeeping staff were excellent.

What can I say, the hotel rooms and facilities are new, clean and pleasant everywhere. The hotel staff were all friendly and their hearts were as clean as the ocean itself. The food is a lot for Japanese, but the all-inclusive meals are delicious with a lot of choices. It is great to be able to go back and forth between the two hotels every day to go to the restaurant of your choice.

Everything about this property met or exceeded my expectations. From the moment we were greeting at the airport till the time we left the property, the service was exceptional. Every staff on the property was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, quiet and surrounded by the natural beauty. Was surreal. I stayed for 2 nights for my honeymoon and could've have asked for anything more. Thanks to all the staff and the amazing resort.

Loved the two island concept. We were on the all inclusive package and could use facilities on both islands. This meant we had access to 6 different dinning options which meant we didn't get bored with the food. Staff were super friendly and accommodating across both islands. We were very happy with our stay.
