Mellieha Holiday Centre, hotel in St. Paul's Bay

Located in picturesque Mellieha, this resort features extensive grounds with a large swimming pool, several restaurants and a rooftop terrace with views over the sandy beaches and Mellieha Bay.

The bungalows design is thought through nicely, the rooms are big and located on different sides of the building, so the sound doesn't travel from room to room easily. The kitchen is fully equipped for the comfortable stay, there was really everything needed for cooking. Huge hotel territory, a lot of benches on the way, good for an easy evening walk. The hotel has private tunnel to the beach, it's very nice shortcut to avoid crossing the road with child.

Clean enough, rooms serviced every day if you wanted. Decent shower, with power not like some hotels where it's a trickle. It's not luxury luxury, but clean, tidy and staff were great.

Very large apartment with private patio at the back. When all doors were closed there was no noise from main street even we had ground floor. Luxury apartment but finished in "English" standard slightly below European luxury category. If someone would correct these small details it would lift quality to top level. It was clean, everything worked including door handles (previous feedbacks were complaining about this).

Great hospitality and kind hosts. Every day breakfast suprise was great. Simple and tasty local food, something for every taste. If you want to enjoy in nice and clean enviroment and feel the real Malta, book this or similar B&B and avoid masive all-inclusive resorts. Bus station, post office and bank few steps away. We were visiting late in October, so we didn't have major problems with the car parking. It may be a problem in high season, for us, it was simply perfect.
